Oh yeah Hollow Knight would be cool as well. As for Quote I think he'd most likely come with that but I prefer On to Grasstown that's just a really good theme.

I want to know Sakurai's exact opinions on Fire Emblem. I want to ask him if he knows about the reactions new Fire Emblem characters generate. I want to know why he thinks it's a good idea to stir the pot.

I am pretty sure most people would have preferred Poochy to Byleth.
They would have wanted anyone that was not a FE swordsman.

Keep pushing for him. But given that Sakurai said the next batch is decided. Might not help.

I'll always hold out hope due to Yoshi's 30th anniversary. But I feel even if Poochy IS coming and Sakurai uses that explanation, it won't do any good to temper frustration

Given how he poked fun at the anime swordsmen complaints, he knows. I don't think he cares and I wouldn't either if I was the same man that put Banjo-Kazooie and Cloud Strife in the same game.

At this point I think while he just wants to represent the series as best as he can, would not surprise me if there's the smallest bit of him that loves watching us squirm.

Anyways are there any specific premium Mii Costumes any of you want? For me personally I would like to see a few of these:

-Premium Quote Mii Costume w/On to Grasstown (Remix)
-Premium Shovel Knight Mii Costume w/Strike the Earth!
-Premium Dovakinn Mii Costume w/Skyrim Main Theme
-(If no Geno as a playable character) Premium Geno Mii Costume w/Beware the Forests Mushrooms (Remix)

Particularly I would like 1, 2 and 4 the most (if Geno isn't playable).

Seriously this would be great.
First could have been: Altair with City of Jerusalem theme remix

*Insert Tim Schafer directed game* Like Raz from Psychonauts or Manny Calbera from Grim Fandango with a theme from there - Seriously wonder if Sakurai has played any of his games. Would be interested.

Beat or Gum from Jet Set Radio with Rock it On remix

If I ever see him in another Smash trailer there will always be an urge to tell him to go **** himself. Like it or not, Byleth's presence has caused a mass distortion in the public unconscious.

Like, at this point, I think the best way to acomplish THAT is to include locations from the games that are already in the game. Two of the Three Fire Emblem stages are generic and not super representative of any of the actual games (to my knowledge). Then maybe still including more characters but picking some more diverse characters from past titles who use 100% unique weaponry and powers like Tiki and the like.

I certainly hope he doesn't enjoy it. Because that means he's gonna do it again.

They're generic because Fire Emblem's landscapes are bland as hell.

I'd gladly take 8 Fire Emblem characters over:

On gamefaqs, some dude was so salty about Corrin, they had a 800 or so post trying to replace Corrin with almost every other fire emblem character. Had been doing it daily for about 2 years. it was weird.

I think people will be salty up until the next fighter.
