So I played through Sword... and uhh... it isn't a bad game. But, it's the most lackluster Pokemon game we've seen in quite a long while. It's pretty clear that it was rushed and half-baked. Barely worth the 3DS retail price, let alone the Switch's. I don't recommend it to most people given said price. I give it a 5/10, personally. 3 Points being docked for no natdex and the other 2 being docked just for the immense lack of content. 5/10 isn't bad by the way. Mediocre, but a score above 4 means the game held my interest long enough to see it through.

Anyone remember the controversy around Genshin Impact?
(A bunch of salty Zelda fans call this a BotW ripoff and a PS4 gets smashed on the floor.)
Wooza what now? Never heard of it, nor this controversy.

Nothing about that is surprising. As someone who chose not to buy the game I was never expecting it to fail or be the worst game ever, but it was clear to me by about E3 this year that it just wasn't worth my time and money.

I haven't felt the motivation to pick it back up after clearing the fifth gym a couple of weeks ago.

Damn, it really is like that huh?

I was this close to the brink last year, felt like I had nothing to live for. But I kept going because I the very least, even if I didn’t have anything else, I’d have a fun Pokémon game to play by 2019. And what am I met with? A divided fanbase, and a decent game that wasn’t worth the trouble.

I kept moving on for nothing. It’s really funny in hindsight.

I don't want to tell you to do anything you don't want to, but if you do want to talk, PM me.

And found a Christmas avatar. Seems only fitting to pick something Persona related for December. It was either my current one or this one. And speaking of Persona and Christmas:

Bruh...

I love Xenoblade 2 and it's a game that helped me pull through a rough part of my life back when it first released, yet much like Swoshi, it's also heavily divisive among its fan base and often the butt of jokes. Do I care that some people may dislike a game that I personally find much enjoyment out of? **** no.

You are not in the wrong for liking Sword and Shield, and I recommend that you continue to enjoy it without letting differing opinions making you think otherwise.

I don't know weather or not I regret my Wii U purchase. On one hand, it gave me access to so many games and upreses all my Wii games. On the other hand, almost everything I bought for it was soon released on the Switch, which I also now own.

You made the right choice.

I mean, how else would you play the 2015 game of the year...

However, the Switch is dreadfully lacking in everything Pikmin aside from user icons, making the Wii U a very good purchase.

on god if swsh doesn't win gotyView attachment 249891
I mean, I don’t wanna be too harsh, but I really don’t see it winning GOTY. If it does, that honestly would surprise me, considering the massive amount of game it’s competing against.

i mean, knowing how the GOTY works, it would probably win just because “muh Pokémon on Console!”

Waluigi looking snazzy. I wish the actual Mario Kart games would be getting costumes, too, but there's just no sweet gacha money to be made, I guess.

I bought Pokémon Shield because right now it is the closest thing I have to a Switch Godzilla game with the Gigamax element and creatures such as Tyranytar and Hydreigon.

Yes, I am that desperate for a Switch Godzilla game, don’t judge me.

I have to something interesting to say...

Ever since the intial reveal of the Echo Fighter re-branding with Dark Pit, Lucina, and Daisy, the community has been speculating various character picks for any future Echo Fighters to be revealed. The likes of Impa, Shadow, Octoling(s), & many more became very popular within this scene and were considered potential "locks" for the base roster. For me, there's one specific character that I'm pretty suprised wasn't talked about as much despite being one of the most obvious characters to make into an Echo Fighter. Who am refering to?

....Ms. Pac-Man.

Yeah, while I was looking over a little project on my current predictions for CP#5, I went about the idea of making a concept of her with the notion of a possibility of more Echo Fighters for when the Fighter Pass is done with. For what her differences from Pac-Man would be? Well, her overall movement speed on both ground & in mid-air would be slightly slower and is also more plausible to being launched off the stage from a strong attack. She would share a few number of animations with her husband, but she would have her own unique ones too. Her biggest difference from Pac-Man would be that her version of Bonus Fruit is a combination of Pac-Man's old neutral custom moves from Sm4sh.

What does anyone think? Any feedback is appreciated.

They throw that game at you for not even 10€ here. Basically meaning you get a free game with your two amiibo. And yet I'm still too cheap to buy it.
Man, I got it new with both amiibos for 5 bucks (CAD). I had to wait in line on Boxing Day, but it was worth it, I guess?

I don't think anyone (who matters) has an issue with you liking the game. It's not really worth your time to worry about whether or not anyone else likes it either.

I have a coworker who tries to convince me to get it every time I talk to him and I'm just like "Nah, I'll wait until next year and get the version with all of the Pokemon added back in."

I am cool with Ms.Pac-Man in Smash.

The real problem would be if everyone else on the internet is too.
