>A proper Pokemon spinoff in this day and age

Oh, I'm so sorry lol
Super was 4 years ago which isn’t that long. Pokémon quest was also a spin-off that came to consoles first.

Mystery had used every Pokémon up until they point so waiting for another one isn’t unlikely. They now have two generations to play with. I’m sure they could could up with a pretty good story and game focused around the ultra beasts and maybe eternatus as well. Wouldn’t surprise me if we saw one announced sometime this year.
One year anniversary Spirit event, which gives more SP while also allowing you to deal more damage.

Wright lives to fight another day.
How fun would it have been if fighter five was just in this image on accident?

I can honestly feel where the spirit deconfirming craze is coming from.

I mean, my heart stops every time there's a Mii Costume showcase for each presentation, waiting for Steve to be there.

I'd be more than content if Maxwell showed up there though.

I finished Luigi's Mansion 3, finally.

Easily my game of the year, and is now in my top 3 video games. It's sooooooo gooooood! Everything about the game just makes me really, really happy: The beautiful CG movie-esque artstyle, the well crafted levels, the really well hidden collectible gems, and all the general fun and chaarming personality the game has. If it weren't for Super Mario Odyssey, it probably would be my favorite game. It's one of those rare games where I literally had no problems with it, it's close to what I personally would call perfection in a video game.

I’m honestly not that worried about Mii costumes, tbh.

Every time the showcase appears, I always hope to see really cool outfits of characters I really like but can’t imagine getting in as fighters (Yangus from DQ8 or the Metroids themselves for example).

I for one was really happy with the reveal of the Team Rocket grunts suits and the Dragon Quest costumes as a whole.

Some updates:

1) 3Make hype! Never played the original, but I love what I see already.

2) Developed an interest in the Ace Attorney series, and within the last week have acquired Justice for All and the original Ace Attorney on DS, and have ordered Apollo Justice, as well as Trial and Tribulations from GameStop. Why physical? I've always gone physical, and I'm not stopping now.

3) Have now caught G-Man Snorlax, Centiskorch, Butterfree, and Corviknight. I've also been doing old fashioned breeding for nature and IVs.

4) Started Dragon Quest XIS. Really great so far...going to have to get back to it before Pokemon distracts me too much.

Glad to see you are enjoying DQXI S quite a lot!

My GOTY is 100% going to DQ11S. Over 100 hours put into that game, and I still enjoy it.
100% agree with that statement.

If nothing goes wrong at all during January, I will hopefully be able to pick a really long awaited Amiibo at launch before it runs out of stock:

Assuming that Joker doesn't get an amiibo, this is probably the last amiibo I'm going to purchase. I love collecting them, but I feel like I have enough at this point.

I can imagine why.

Doh as a Metroid and Dragon Quest fan, I will surely buy the amiibo for Hero too and maybe stop at that.

Unless they make amiibo for the four heroes in which case I’m buying the other 3 too.

I haven't bought amiibo for a long time. Just got too expensive to me to try to collect them all, and money isn't my middle name.

Though I might get an Erdrick amiibo if that comes out, and maybe an Octoling Girl amiibo because I love Splatoon.

Arright. I only mentioned Beach and Volcano, which I think are definitely happening, but I am so sold for 5 new themes, which would make the grid 5x3 instead of 5x2.

Beach: Covered

Volcano: Covered

Mountain: Not unlikely. Home to the fuzzies and tight platforminf stages. A nighttime theme could even have no-backwards-scrolling, where you can only go forward and never go back, because the screen stops you from moving. However, the screen doesn’t move unless you do. I’m shocked that a form of no-backwards-scrolling hasn’t been implemented into the auto-scrolling menu, but ah well.

Fortress / Tower: This is for all of your dungeon levels that don’t really fit the lava aesthetic, but DO fit the spikes balls, snake block paths, and the hopes and dreams of those who wanted to place an Amp. For everybody else, it’s just your typical fortress theme from the New Soup games. A nighttime theme could be looping walls. On a vertical level, you travel from the right wall to the left wall. On a horizontal level, falling into a pit sends you to the top of the screen, always. This is definitely the jankiest of nighttime themes, and will probably need to undergo several modifications so that cheese doesn’t become the norm.

Space?: A mode where you can swim in the sky during the day? An alternative to the Underwater theme for a map where you can have free reign? I guess... but I mean... it hasn’t been used since Super Mario Land 2. For a nighttime theme, I’d say give all of the enemies their nighttime ground behaviors, and just throw them in a swimming environment, and watch magic happen.

I barely got outta the first area of the Dragon Quest 11 demo. I was just bored tbh.

Maybe I should pick it up again, I keep hearing great things.

I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't have any amiibo...

I'm not a true Gamer™ :c
Trust me, there are things I would love to have more than amiibo (doh I am cool with having those anyways).

I am pretty much jealous of everyone who owns one of these:

Do you know what else I want them to add in SMM2? Boomerang Bros. and Fire Bros. for ALL styles.
I want a Samus power up in Mario Maker 2.

I may even come up with a moveset once the Link update drops and I hear how each move is pulled out.

Well if any pokemon spin off still has a chance, its Mystery Dungeon. It had two games on the 3DS, which is a lot more then games like Pokemon Ranger can say.
yeah, in Gen 6

that was also the generation which had a dead year and they needed filler, and the first game came out before X & Y so no worries

Super was also an entire generation ago and TPCi has been moving away from spinoffs that don't sell millions internationally.

Sale tracking show Super Mystery Dungeon as not even cracking 400k after two years of sales, and for a Pokemon to internationally fail to break 1m within a week, that's in the business world, a bomb, even if the game was objectively a success in the eyes of the consumers

after all, look at DMC4

I wanted to get a few amiibo (mainly Lucas, Simon, Richter, and Snake), but I just... never did for whatever reason... Ah well.

Also I bet that Slime controller offers major advantages in a competitive setting. ABSOLUTE UNIT!
