Good to know - I figured that it wouldn't count any collectibles and whatnot. (I have no idea what crystal hearts are, but I'm just concerning myself with beating the game)

My other concern is that it goes too far in the opposite direction - from what I've read, it does things like gives you infinite dashing or making you invincible (or at least immune to spikes). Does that result in the game feeling far too easy instead of far too difficult?

Invincibility and infinite dashes are indeed a possibility, but those are merely options, you can just give yourself an extra hit and dash

Spoiler: thoughts

Lovin' a lot of these character arcs during Act 2. Literally everyone who isn't Jade gets character development of some kind through some plot reveal. The absence of Jade development is pretty funny, but the fact that I got Booga's ****-kick-to-death-lick instead is a favorable substitute.

I started off today with Zwaardrust and I just got the Sword of Light. I consider it damn good progress.

I can't overstate how much Royal helped me to appreciate P5 more, but I'm looking forward to seeing Phantom Thieves in an actual sequel.

I finally got my first shiny in sword and shield! I got a 5iv foreign ditto today and knew what I wanted to breed for. And in 85 eggs I got My favorite new mon shiny:

it’s Falinks! It shined before I could get a 5iv adamant one but that’s fine by me! It’s 4ivs in all its best stats and has a neutral nature. Which is pretty good. I might mint it as I’m going for competitive but I’m really happy and excited to have gotten this.

How the **** do you even try to IV/Nature check these things if they can't breed?

i pressure your talking in the actual games?
If so, synchronize actually doesn’t work 100 percent of the time in raids, making it tougher. There is an exploit allowing people to get whatever they want from a den and continuing let others farm it if they themselves don’t catch the mon, but that is a lot of resetting took.

On the bright side 4-5 raids are pretty guranteed 4-5iv Pokémon making that part easier. HAs are also seemingly more common with five star raids so that’s a plus. Getting the r get natured is hard but the rest is sorta of easily if you put the time in.

Who knows? But I'm so happy tht my boi got a real moveset in SMM2, not just being Mario under another skin.

No one else here will probably care but I just discorded that Wonderstorm, the creators of The Dragon Prince, are creating a tie-in video game. It was apparently planned from the start of the series and will expend on the show's lore.

That means that The Dragon Prince characters are video game characters. That can only mean one thing.

Long story short she's an elven assassin from a show I like who naruto runs and dual wields swords.

I was also joking about her in Smash, btw.

That hasn't stopped people from creating levels centered around a particular power-up before.

Sure, but I hope people found way to avoid that, I prefer dying than getting softlock imo.

That said, it's only a minor gripes I have, outside of that, I'm pretty excited to see what peoples are going to come up with it. Also, bruh, if a Samus power-up came out later, I wonder if that mean I have to remake my Mother Brain level to make it fit.

Really, this update just gave us so much to think about, it's a early christmas gift, if I say so.
