To differ Titanus Burrunjor from Titanus Kasai Rex which would obviously be theropod like.

Titanus Burrunjor is varanid-like notably of an komodo dragon or megalania and four-legged given some cryptozoologists proposes that the Burrunjor is an surviving megalania.

What is this mysterious K-Pop you speak of? /s

Anyway, not into K-pop(or pretty much any traditional kinda music, so no Christian Country, Rock and Roll, etc) so I literally have no clue who these are.

Good morning.

I’m going to just briefly touch on a few things.

Nobody here, is my student. I am not your teacher. To suggest that I look at anyone as an “underling” or someone who “needs to be educated” is flat out ridiculous. If suggesting evidence for certain points, or backing up what I say means that I’m “trying to teach people”, then I guess I’m guilty as charged. The passive aggression is ****ing stupid at this point.

One thing I can relate to education, though, is the fact that in English, you have to back up your claims. I have done that time and time again. In life, you have to back up what you say. It’s fun to talk about Smash, and to talk about the possibilities. However, if the questions come to, “Why?”, that should be able to be answered.

As some other users have said, it’s frustrating when it seems as though people stick their fingers in their ears when someone is providing reasons to think otherwise, but still asks for a reason to believe what someone is suggesting. I’m open minded, believe it or not. I want to see what people are thinking. I’m not able to do that when the exchange is like this:

“They could upgrade spirits. I think Geno is in.”

“Why?”

“Whatever, boomer. Anything can happen!”

We can point fingers all day. The fact of the matter is, if it’s not good for me to be hard on Spirits as disconfirmations, then it’s just as bad to suggest the same points without providing reason to believe them.

Everybody can think what they want. It’s a website to talk about Smash. We’re all Smash fans here. It’s easier to have a conversation between folks when both sides more or less back up what they think. Otherwise, what they are saying doesn’t really mean anything.

Regardless, now that that is off my chest I do want to say that I accept the apology that Shroob Shroob put out there. I appreciate that, and it says something that someone not only realized maybe they took something too far, but to do that publicly, in front of their peers.

I just may broaden my horizons with other potential characters in Smash now that RE is out. If I’m anything with Smash, I’m a realist. I got my hopes up for Snake as DLC for Wii U, and we know how that turned out. I will not look at Resident Evil the same way, despite the fact that part of me wishes it didn’t disconfirm Leon. That will still probably take time to get over.

To be honest, maybe I’ll just keep my Smash opinions at the Newcomer and DLC thread. We’ll see.

I don’t want to continue with “drama” from last night though, so I’ll respectfully leave it there.
If pick 5 isn’t Capcom, I personally see Dante as getting a huge gain from that. There’s that one leak that suggested Phoenix Wright is #5, but we’ll see if that turns out. It was a random text leak after all.

Kinda thinking Dark Souls, Assassin’s Creed, or...something else. Weird feeling to really not know who’s coming.

That's generally because of Konami's negative reception in recent years, on top of not having the notable IPs of Namco and Capcom, at least as far as the Smash crowd goes. I mean, I've been a Tekken fan before I even played Smash, so of course Namco's on my radar. Even people who've played a handful of KOF games didn't see Terry/SNK as a lock. With Metal Gear and Castlevania with playable characters, Bomberman as an assist, and Goemon as a Mii Costume (I'm not too sure how much that matters) there's not a ton of options. Although there's Silent Hill, Bloody Roar and Contra off the top of my head. Of course they could always double dip into MGS or CV.

Anyways, when's Jin Kazama?
Contra would be dope tbh.

There's also Frogger, which would be... hilarious.

Mornin'.

Gonna be picking up some stuff on the Steam sale today, including Teken 7. Quick question for those familiar with it: Is the DLC for the game worth it, or should I just buy the base version for now?

In all honestly, I cant see why people wanted frogger at all and I still dont see it. Thats like unironicly asking for the ****ing sandbag
Frogger's one of my favorite arcade games and I think he'd be fun in Smash.

For a while I was really stumped on how they could make Frogger work

Then I thought about it, he could totally be Konami's answer to Pac-Man

Much like Pac has stuff from Namco's rich arcade history, Frogger could bring stuff from the old Konami arcade games

I'm talking stuff like Twinbee, Track and Field, Gradius...

WAIT YO... WHAT IF HE HAD A KONAMI CODE INPUT MOVE?

Imagine how we felt. We are literally at a point where an obscure anime robot waifu and a tiny red girl with a stick can be considerable candidates.
Did somebody say obscure anime!
ahem... that's enough gifing for today, methinks.
Wait, who are you referring to when you say "tiny red girl with a stick"?
