Is this seriously all it takes to be a "leaker"? There are like four or five qualifiers in there to back up on if Dante isn't revealed. Anyone can write that.

I've heard from five different people that they think Jill Valentine might be in the game, though unsure if she's a playable character or a stage asset like the KoF characters. Not going to completely back this up until I hear from a main source, but wanted to make it so these rumors are known.


Bam. Send tweet. Start fires. Claim I was right all along if Jill's in, forget I ever said it if she's not.

Even if it ends up going nowhere it's still something to talk about

you have crash and spyro. maybe jak/daxter and ratchet/clank if you're lucky. maybe even amaterasu. who else is there? literally everyone else.

I figured that Geno was pretty likely for one of the post-Fighters-Pass DLC - as soon as they announced that, I figured that he would be one of them since Square-Enix would almost certainly prioritize Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest over anything else, and now that Cloud and Hero are both in Smash, Geno seems like the next-most-likely S-E character given his persistent/consistent fan demand.

Don't think Dante's fighter 5, if what Hidaki Itsuno said back in February is anything to go by. By that time, the pass was fully decided. Not sure why he'd bring that up otherwise.

now post pass on the other hand, I'd say Dante has a pretty decent shot, regardless of this "leak" being the real deal or not

Real talk though, I got no room to complain about character choices in this game: I got my most wanted (Inkling) and one of my biggest pipe dreams (Joker).

Smash is cool and I'm just along for the ride at this point, so whoever gets in is 'aight.

That said, I still really want Phoenix Wright.
