I don’t know.. I feel that Fnafs variety of games will make it more well known to the casual crowd, that’s why I call it, the “Minecraft” of indies.

I game I voice in has a refrence to Sans. You can battle a character with a blue jacket and black shorts with his arms in his sleeves, and the battle takes place in a golden hallway. I'm screaming.

So, what other possible newcomers can you see getting the Olimar/Bowser Jr/Hero treatment, where their alts change them to a completely different character?

I can think of Steve and Alex, and I can see someone making a case for RE characters, but idk unless they have similar body types.

This I disagree with even more. Fnaf is marketed heavily towards the older teens, and while that’s not to say that Undertale doesn’t either, it shoots a bit lower, going from the trailers and overall feel of the game.
If anything, having a variety of games is detrimental to your chances: If a game is known for being just one game, more likely people will know it more because the point of entry is just that: one point.
while franchises, with tons of games tend to get fans confused(for example: Kingdom Hearts)with the amount of content and often get turned away because of.
Trust me, it’s happened to me(and some of my friends) way too many time to count now.
although, considering Sakurai’s criteria, I really don’t see how FNAF would work that well, anyway.

Not sure about newcomers but I think these two could have worked; Jeanne could work as an alt as she has the exact same moves as Bayo in the games and the same proportions. Sora, Roxas and Xion all have the same moveset, and if you want some creative liberties you could fit Ven in there too.

Papyrus- A weaker yet goofier version of the :ultgunner:/:nessecho:. A mechanic can be excessive taunting, unlike a Sans spirit fight.
Asgore- :ultbowser:. A king and good dad, even with his flaws. If we only focus on Bowser's take-over of the Mushroom Kingdom and kidnapping Peach, he's a king and a dad I guess lol.
Asriel- :ultmewtwo:. Lovable creature with a good heart but has anger issues and a troubled past.

I think Smash is likely to get a second SNK character after Terry, and two of them I think could easily have different characters as alts.

One of them is a character from Metal Slug, a game where all the characters play the same, so it'd make sense to have Marco, Tarma, Eri, and Fio as one Hero style character (and maybe also Nadia, Trevor, Ralf, and Clark if there's gonna be 8 characters total like Bowser Jr.)

The other is Kyo Kusanagi... which I know sounds weird, since there's not a lot of characters that replicate his fighting style exactly, those that do can just be referenced with simple palette swap colors (Kyo-1, Kyo-2, and Kusanagi), and one of them (Shingo Yabuki) would be better served as an Echo Fighter... but there is one character that I've yet to see brought up here...



This is Cosplayer Kyoko. No, she's not a literal genderbent version of Kyo (like Fatal Cutie Terry from SNK Heroines). She's actually her own separate character, first appearing in The King of Fighters 2000 as a Striker character for Shingo, and specifically created as SNK's nod to female fans who frequently cosplay as Kyo at their events... and I think she'd make the perfect "female alt" for Kyo Kusanagi.

Don't know why but I'm considering giving Brawlhalla another shot even though I wasn't impressed with it when I tried it the first time.

From my noobish experience with the game, it's fun online, but co-op is super annoying and I wouldn't recommend(then again, haven't played in years by this point, and was it ported to console or something? only played on PC)

It's pretty much Smash, but if items were always on and the stages weren't always just flat pieces of land.

I just watched the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Special Look video they just released.
