1: That implies everyone voting prefers Smash over every single game in the category, which is something we can't say for sure.
2: Geoff adores Kojima and it wouldn't be the first time Kojima gets an award with people calling BS as seen with MGSV winning best music.
3: You're assuming I care enough to have a reaction beyond "Good for them!" At the winners as these awards mean **** all

So apparently my dog is sensitive after all as she puked up the raw dog food I tried to give her.

In that case I'll just be blending her dry dog food with chicken feet, white rice, vegetables/fruits, egg (With the shells too) and yogurt as she'll eat those. Hopefully I see an improvement in her health issues in a few weeks.

Plenty of cool stuff came out this year, but you wouldn't know it from the awards selecting the same 8 games. And they didn't even put the right ones for GOTY.

I need some practice; I wanna go to a tournament on Saturday and I'm really rusty with the game (haven't played online in 4 or so weeks), and I wanna get used to playing competitively again so even if I'm out in round 1, I at least avoid embarrassing myself.

From what I understand, it didn't set the world on fire in terms of sales, but those that did play it REALLY liked it. Maybe a sleeper hit type of deal.

I just checked.

MK isn't in best audio design. Look I don't even care what made it in over it but MK's audio design is actually fantastic, and it extends just beyond how much life it gives to the gorier aspects of the game, though in that aspect it absolutely excels still. The sounds of Shao's hammer, Jax's fists hitting people, distinct sound queues for when meter fills or the fatal blow is available, Nightwolf's outro with his yell transitioning to a wolf's howl so well. The sound design in the game is so good and it makes me sad that the one time it could have been properly appreciated it was glossed over.

Those are really great examples. On top of all the cool ice effects for my boy Sub-Zero. Jax's Punch effects really sell the damage too.

I dont really care. Its like evo, Im here for the the announcements

I like watching EVO. At least for Tekken and Marvel/DBFZ. I watch a bit of the other games here and there too.

Compared to 80+ characters especially fan favorites and long demanded characters and 100+ stages you can't complain.

But if the online is cheeks, I can't say I'd have much fun fighting people with Mega Man and Terry much.
