I thought that the 11/1 Direct was a whole bunch of filler if you exclude Kencineroar and WoL. That, and I was hella salty that they made a Mii costume of Rex and turned Shantae into a Spirit.

The assist trophy segment was pretty painful to sit through, too. I honestly thought that Isaac fans were finally going to get their moment, so I was disappointed for them when he got the AT treatment. Pretty lackluster Direct when you compare it to the bombshell that we got in August.

anyway the way I’ll share my thoughts about the 11/1 direct will be in segments and I’ll do it one at a time. Some of them will bring laughs tho. I will start doing this on the 1st of November

• expanded akechi confidant, possibly a romance option but if not it's very very fanservicey in tone
• akechi's rank 10 confidant is the requirement for the bonus story featuring the new palace and kasumi
• black mask akechi and kasumi join in late january
• kasumi's confidant auto-advances at key points throughout the base game story up to level 5, then the arcana inverts and continues to level 10 in the vein of p4's seekers of truth social link (i.e. something that advances quickly over a bonus episode/dungeon)
• kasumi potentially has no thief codename and is just called yoshizawa in the last dungeon (not confirmed via pictures yet)
