Eh..I'm not buying into this. It doesn't say anything more to add upon like Neku actually being playable or just some TWEWY Mii Costumes.
There's a good chance it's not even Smash related. Maybe just teasing at TWEWY coming to other consoles or getting a sequel.

I think it's TWEWY2 as it's been hinted at many many times before rather than Smash but I could be wrong. Hopefully i'm not cause people really want a sequel.

Only a couple people suggested it was related to Smash. Meanwhile, some of us were already looking into the possibility of TWEWY2, considering some of the higher ups, including Nomura, at Square want to do a TWEWY2.
Given that the post was posted in the forum's general Nintendo rumor thread and not the Ultimate DLC speculation thread, as well as the fact he hinted that it would also pertain to outside of the Switch, I would take that this is a general TWEWY hint and not Smash-related.

I sometime rarely wake up and realize how many franchises I would have missed if I never played Brawl and onward.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that Ultimate is the same game where Joker, Cloud, and Banjo & Kazooie can fight a Mii dressed up like Sans.

Ah I remember that day. The day my inner childhood suddenly sparked and got me back into Nintendo. I'll never forget that.
Deep down, I knew they wouldn't be DLC. The franchise took off so fast that it didn't make sense to waste such a major addition like that through DLC. I was expecting Splatoon to debut in a way similar to AC and Villager.
