Even outside of VF though, you'd think Sega would've put them in a fighter. But I guess everyone asking for Kiryu into Tekken might lead to something. I know VF had a handful of characters in DOA5. But again, still not Blaze or Axel.

I know this reply was late as hell, but I was busy with a few things.

So Hayabusa's done-zo for the Fighter's Pass? Damn. I wanted my Izuna Drops. I'm still catching up so if I'm missing a couple details, my bad.

Again, the Mishima's sort of share a collective spotlight as the main characters of Tekken. To say Heihachi is the poster boy would be ignoring the times where this is also applicable to both Kazuya(T1,TTT,SFXTK,PXZ2) and Jin(T3,T4,T5,T5DR,TTT2,NXC,PXZ) respectively.

1987. Darkstalkers was early 90's, if you're wondering about Donovan.

Dragon Ball was out in 1984, which probably had a bit of influence on Street Fighter with the Hadoken and all that, but SF was primarily inspired by a different martial arts manga.

SDC came out in 1989 - 1992 IIRC.

The concept of having a spirit guardian isn't created by Araki, but the entire concept and complexities of what entities Stands become is more-so the reference other series makes homages or references, say Persona or something. Not a rip off, but the inspiration is present.

I find it interesting that the narrator says that there are no invisible walls. I wonder if this means we can actually take the battles from the mountains to the cities and change scenarios.

for average battles? a possibility.

but for obvious story reasons im pretty sure trying to take ol vegeta or cell to south city is gonna make some silly text box with "oh no!!! can't do that!" appear.

Ahhhh. Sad Horse Show & Friends (BoJack Horseman) was great! I really liked the arcs and character development this season.

Hopefully Part 2 in January doesn't make me eat my words even if I kinda suspect it will.
