Though I was just asking for her opinion (that is all I inteneded), sorry. Didn't know things could get out of hand by saying that, even though I just wanted to know her opinion on this. Either way, if it is that bad, forget I said that, okay?

I just want to say that I absolutely hate the idea that using a word immediately makes you "phobic" of anything, regardless of the context.

Like yeah, you're an asshole if you use a word in a negative way, and you can say someone is ignorant for using a word, but sometimes a word is just a word.

Let's not beat around the Bush here.

Sabi knew exactly what she was saying. Telling someone to go suck you know what what is not just a word anymore.

A word is when someone says it and doesn't know the implications.

You lose the veil of innocence when it's used in spite and malice.

Just got the context..... I mean it's mean but not as bad as people made it out to be. I use that word to describe myself all the time. I don't use it to describe OTHER trans people unless they tell me they're okay (and I don't ask, I just don't use it around them unless they volunteer the information), but sometimes I like to be inappropriate and glib, it helps me release stress and feel more human, to just be imperfect for a while.

Edit: But when Sabi used it, and the whole context of that conversation, she was being an absolute ****.

Pretty much, a few episodes prior, the MC is show eating seaweed. This Seaweed, for some reason, turns you into a fish. Bushiroad uses this as an excuse to make lots and lots of bad fish puns. and I mean ALOT, it's one of the few plot points that stick for more than 1-2 episodes(not counting major plot points or foreshadowing)
