But now Sabi is saying "Ryu? Nah man"


It's just weird.

As it stands, that narrows it down to Lloyd/Yuri or Phoenix Wright according to that one leak but

If anything, Ring Fit Trainer will probably just be an echo. If any new Nintendo series gets a rep, it'd be Astral Chain or Dragalia Lost. At least, unless Ring Fit Adventure turns out to be massively popular.

I don't think an Echo would make much sense. Aside from both characters coming from a fitness game, they're very different from each other. RFT uses more "magical" attacks, while WFT is more grounded on reality.

Astral Chain and Dragalia could get a rep, but it really just depends on whether or not Sakurai feels comfortable with them. Ring Fit Adventure has gotten heavy advertising and more of a global push.

See, as I said on the Geno thread, this is why I think insiders can be too confusing to trust sometimes, They each say different things that conflict with each other.

Gut feeling is that it’s Sora honestly, but it could be anybody, controversial opinion I know. Did start playing the first Kingdom Hearts recently, so I probably wouldn’t mind that.

The icon could be anything, bear in mind there is a new Tales game coming next year. I would call that “circumstantial evidence” more than anything (Assuming that it even means anything)

And as much as I really want Phoenix (One of my most wanted), that is nothing more than a dime a dozen 4chan leak, nothing worth paying attention to at the moment (Unless something pops up)

Taking all of this into account, we are really in the dark right now in terms of leaks

It says it's for a Save Icon, and while it most likely is, it's just a book, odd thing to copyright "generic book"

I doubt it’s for smash really. Look at the series logo, in other DLC trailers they used the specific game the character was from, like “Smash Ultimate x Persona 5” and “Smash Ultimate x Dragon Quest XI S” not generic series logos. Lloyd would be specially labelled as being from Tales of Symphonia.

Banjo-Kazooie technically uses the series logo. Nuts and Bolts’s logo is just a modified version of Banjo-Kazooie’s. As is the one for Grunty’s Revenge. And lots of base game characters use generic series logos. I would agree that it’s odd, you’d think they’d use the Tales of Symphonia logo. But... this does look a lot like stuff for Smash.
