Gogeta and Vegito have special dialogue with each other in DBFZ. A handful of the other games have done this, but it's still cool to see as it is.


Also, the color for SSB in the Broly movie is waaaaay better than the earlier version, hope they keep it. But I think Extreme Butoden's sprite is my favorite since it was more metallic white looking on SSB Goku.

I disagree pretty hard. Gameplay/combat is pretty good of course, but what sells TLOU apart form any other zombie apocalypse game is actually having a compelling narrative within that concept. Most other games use the zombie apocalypse to justify violence en masse, TLOU sets it up in order to explore and deepen character relationships. It's a similar reason for why The Walking Dead games were so popular.

I don’t really like the walking dead either.

Like. I love story in games. I’m just fatigued with gritty realism, post-apocalypse/dystopian settings, hyper violence, and gun combat. It’s like, every game that comes out. It was at least 50% of E3.

I won’t try to stop you from liking it. But I just wish we’d go back to seeing some more variety.

You know seeing this makes me think astrial chain would likley get spirits during an event. As for three houses I honestly believe they’re saving it for a certain someone outside the pass lol.
As for the new worlds thing,That was an English translation. What he really said was that by adding in one character he can expand the world of smash. So any character including 1st party, spirit, and 3rd party added as a fighter can expand it.

Daemon X Machina is getting spirits? Is that one even owned by Nintendo? I guess wouldn't need to be, but I'm a little surprised a third party got spirits added post launch that wasn't associated with a character.

SSB is really just Super Saiyan teal.

Another thing that looks cool is that harsh reddish blue tone in the aura. Keep that.



Instead of that yellowy mist.

And yeah, Extreme Butoden looked good too.

A tragic tale about a sad soul who got abducted by an evil organization and was turned into a cyborg intended for the organization's army. You manage to escape before they reprogram you to their bidding and decide to use your new cybernetic body filled with superhuman power to fight against the organization with a scientist you were already friends with for a while. You travel through busy cities, wastelands hiding secret bases, the white house, etc to find the evildoers who did this to you and take them out to stop them from ruling the world with an iron fist. Gameplay has you searching for clues in cities to find out who's involved and once you find them, it becomes an action game where you beat the cyborg soldiers and androids with your bare fists while in destroyable enviroments to crush enemies under rubble, smack around with street signs or cars, break through walls to surprise the enemies to get the advantage or just to wreck their funds as they're tied to the government. You can find or steal weapons from enemy bases or use scraps from the enemies to upgrade yourself or make new weapons for yourself, including laser chainsaw blades that come from your arms, an overclocked system that makes your attacks stronger and lightning fast for a limited time, etc. Throughout the game the general public goes from hating your guts and being frightened to either being grateful for you saving them or conflicted as you reveal the truth.

Nintendo is publishing it outside Japan at least.

Y'know I often look back on base game speculation and become nostalgic even though it only happened a year ago. I just can't help but feel that base game was a lot better in terms of open and fair game speculation it felt like anything and anyone could happen (within reason of course, No characters from outside of gaming).

Like I used to think that all these sorts of characters could happen like a boat load of 3rd parties ranging from Phoenix to Rayman, Shantae, Shovel Knight, Bomberman, Shadow, RE Rep, Etc. and even 1st party characters from Zelda to Mario to Fire Emblem, Pokemon, DKC, Xenoblade, Kirby, Golden Sun, Rhythm Heaven, Retro characters, Etc.

Now it feels like only a quarter of that could and would happen. No 1st/2nd parties, For the most part no spirit/assist/Mii Costume upgrades, Etc. It feels so limiting and boring nowadays which is a part of why I want 1st parties so badly so Speculation can open up again and become more interesting cause nothing being thrown around is interesting me so it feels like the time I could've been interested in Speculation was wasted and is now over.

I feel so nostalgic for those simpler times y'know? I miss them a lot but I guess it comes with the territory of DLC vs base game. I just miss it.

I feel the opposite, to be honest.

"We have too many FE reps", "who should be our new Zelda rep", "Kirby needs a new rep", "what about retro reps" arguments makes me sick at this point.

At least in third parties, we can talk about characters and series themselves instead of what would represent what. And it's mostly uncharted territory, so I we don't have to sit through the same arguments for same six characters again and again.

(Also, it's not like people doesn't talk about new Nintendo releases and which character they could bring to Smash, which are both first party and something new.)
