Terry crouches a bit before using Burn Knuckle and we see a little flash in front of him, it isn't from Marth as if you slow it down you see 2 flashes. The Shotos have that flash as a visual cue to say "You did the input"

The lack of Minecraft content with Banjo does make me a bit hopeful for a Minecraft DLC in some for. As for the next and extra DLC characters, I can see a FETH character and Gen 8 Mon somewhere down the line, as for 3rd parties, a Capcom Character seems likely, a second Namco character? If Ryu Habasuya is true (which it probably isn't since that guy insisted that he was DLC Pack 4 iirc), then him as well.

I have a lot of faith on Doom Slayer at the moment. I feel that with Sans in Smash, Frisk or Kris could follow as an actual newcomer in the future.

I think I've almost lost all faith in seeing the Dovahkiin now.

Just because a character is new doesn't necessarily mean they're promotional. If Sakurai added Byleth or a Gen VIII Pokemon in the second wave, it's probably because he saw moveset potential that he didn't want to pass up, not because Nintendo was encouraging him to promote something.

I doubt verge knew that far ahead with DLC. He probably just got it wrong or it was some sort of misunderstanding.
