Social Social Thread - Please Read Last Post

After playing DQ after 5 hours, my observations are:

• The Greatsword is great if you want to die due to lack of defense.
• Erik looks like a Super Saiyan Blue
• Erik also has *** defence
• Crits are far more common in Smash
• Frizz sucks, Flame Slash is neat, Heal is good
• Item management is kinda annoying considering that you have pull everything out of your bag and attach it to your character in order to use it in battle.
• You can pilot a robotic egg
• The soundtack is top notch, the DQ 11 MIDIs in Smash were noticeably worse, even compared to the other 6 MIDIs in that game.
• The enemies are unique, you can tell Toriyama created them.
• Charming writing, some solid jokes in there.
• Overall, solid game. Having a lot of fun playing it.

I plan on getting DQ11 for the PS4 sometime soon. Hopefully, i’ll enjoy it. Glad to hear so many good things.

Alright people, quick announcement

KingofPhantoms and @Taylor F are currently part of my analytics/test group and advisory team concerning the Undertale fanfiction that me and a friend are co-authoring. However, I need more people to join the team so I can get more opinions and the process of writing can continue along smoothly. If anyone here is a big Undertale fan, loves fanfiction, and is also a critical thinker who can help me and my friend/colleague write the best, highest quality fanfic we can, just ping me and let me know and I'll send you the chapters that we have written so far. The more feedback, the better. Our goal is to write a fanfiction that stands out above the rest in respecting the canon and also having a well-written, engaging story that has plenty of comedic moments but is also packed full of dramatic and heart-felt moments as well.

We have, though it doesn't really go anywhere last couple of times it's been brought up. And I can see why--one is almost certainly Home-Run Contest. So we don't even have a min or max in terms of how many modes will come. I find it interesting for speculation, for myself, anyways.

On and unrelated note: Smash needs more Wind Waker music. The fact that they removed the original version of the Great Sea theme really pisses me off and I would love to have the Windfall and Outset themes.

I heard somewhere that squad strike might come online.

I'd like Smashdown Online, if not with random people, then with online friends. I like the mode more if I'm doing it with other people, rather than picking CPU opponents. I'd also like Squad Strike, though I've found that mode pretty limiting as sometimes I'd like more than 5 character choices.

My first run ended up being a Church run because I accidentally missed the chance for the 4th path. I regret that.

I can't imagine what it felt like for you and other people going in blind falling into a path on accident after having spent so much time on their save. Not that there isn't anything good about the Church route (haven't played it myself), but the option to pick is still nice. For what it's worth, that route has more content than the other path, so you got to play more at least.

There's not many tracks left in Zelda that I think are missing in Smash (all I need are Clock Town, Lorule Castle and Hyrule Castle from ALttP), but I'd be up for more Wind Waker tracks, like some of the boss battles maybe

Lorule Castle, no boss music from ALTTP or MM, and the lack of anything besides the one remix + main theme for Skyward Sword are travesties.

Also the lack of Hyrule Warriors music, though that's understandably because of licensing issues. I just want this version of Skyloft to actually play on Skyloft.

I'd rather pass on another FE character entirely (for now) just because the franchise has already been racking up a lot of newcomers over the past two games and I'd like for it to take a break.

Then again, a Gen 8 Pokemon would be a lot more likely if a Three Houses rep got in. Can't imagine why they'd add another FE character and not a Pokemon.
