I agree, Infinity War was way better than Endgame. Infinity War had the perfect balance of action, comedy and drama, something most MCU films fail with me. The comedy in Endgame was cringey as ****, especially that time travel baby thing (had no internal logic), and every Thor scene. I was hoping because of Infinity War, if they went with time travel, I had hoped they came up with something clever, rather than something derivative. Not only did they use every cliche in the book, it was very derivative, outside of the clever idea of having to return the stones right after getting them. The stone hunt was a terrible plot line, as things mostly go according to plan and there isn't this feeling of escalation by things falling apart. It was Cameo: the Movie--as someone who only sees 1 or 2 MCU films a year, I had not watched most of the films they go back to, which left me confused and bored during those scenes. As for the climax--personally, it had no effect on me. I'm not the biggest comic book fan, so I get no nostalgia of seeing all these characters together. There's a lot of pandering to seem woke on feminist/racial issues, but completely demotes Black Panther and Captain Marvel to the point where they were barely in it and if they were cut, wouldn't change anything regarding the plot. And it just comes down to a CGI fist fight, which bores me--I like more grittier and toned down climaxes, like the end of Infinity War, or the end of The Force Awakens. Where I can easily follow along and I can feel the emotional intensity--I felt nothing. Felt like there were no stakes, and the only emotional drama in the climax felt half ***** and forced. That being said, the pacing was phenomenal and did not feel the films length. If anything, given how pointless the plot was, I was surprised seeing we were at the climax because I thought there'd be more leading up to it. The pacing and how the movie kept me interested throughout is why it's an ok movie, rather than a bad one.

You would honestly really think for an epic conclusion of 11 years and end of an saga it would had been an grand adventure from beginning to end combined with space travel and time travel but we got none of that.

Then as you said with the comedy. This film should had been an exception. Being an MCU film is no excuse I could let Infinity War slide because this was before The Snap happen but come on were talking about a film post-apocalyptic with 50% of all life gone and as dark if not darker then The Empire Strikes Back and yet has the usual jokey jokes because audiences are too attained to them and if they don't have them it won't be the hit it is.

Basically the amount of letters determines if you get a short, medium, or long sound. If you die a question mark you get a questioning sound, and if you get a ! you get an excited noise. A nice detail tbh. Great idea on the team's part. There's some others for more specific answers

My first two dancers were typical choices, like Dorothea and Hilda, and they both were great.

Now since my NG+ bonuses are off the charts, I figured I'd do something fun in my BL run that isn't necessarily good.

Im a fan of Thor in the film as well. I always disagreed with the hate for the "fat Thor" plot because the weight gain and denial portions of his character are common symptoms of depression and grief: he made a critical error, and is trying to cope with his mistake but is going about it in the wrong way. But then, he comes to learn that he needs to heal in a far healthier way and he does end up reaching that goal. The humor works as well because it matches how he's in denial and takes the stance of "oh Im happy! Everything's fine" when in reality, everything isnt. Then, things get more serious when he becomes open again with what he's feeling, and is able to rebuild from there.

I love Endgame as a whole. It isnt perfect, but it does many things right and there are a couple plot points that I think deserve more consideration and review.

I don't mean to make it that way. Thor was an awesome character and I just don't like the treatment they gave him in Endgame. Again I understand his reason for being depressed but they didn't have to stoop that low to the character.

Clint/Hawkeye was dealing with massive depression as well, but his physique stayed in tact. Having Thor's physique go down the drain shows that depression can manifest in many forms, and it isnt to be taken lightly.

And how he overcomes it and adpots healthier coping mechanisms later in the movie shows growth in his character. It shows maturity and that you can overcome your insecurities and position if you dont give up.

You mean in Brawl? If so, yeah that's a shame. I actually want the alleged scrapped idea to resurface, but with Kiddy Kong.

It all depends on timing, really. I just realized that I haven't healed from my past relationship, even though I thought I had a few weeks ago. I need to overcome that, and once I've stopped stressing out about that... I know I'm over it and I'm ready. Either way, stress makes my stomach hurt quite easily.
