You don't have to explain the joke. You just have to have content after the joke.

Why? Joke is a joke, and there is nothing more to be said. If I wanted to say something of substance, I would have gone to million other threads on this forum dedicated to doing so.

It isn't for deep discussion, but wasting band-width and posting the same joke a million times doesn't really help anyone either. We also don't need to constantly have a new thread every 3 months.

This isnt a place for helping anyone, its for hanging around with friends, making fart jokes, drinking beer, being SOCIAL. And people actually enjoyed that, AND the million times repeated jokes. And is making a new thread really such a hassle?

Anyway, totally random, but does anyone find Sheik's full walk animation adorable? She skips around in battle; it's so cute! Everyone has their own quirk with their movement animations; either it's based on something like Snake's sneaking animation being used for his walk and the Villager walking like in Animal Crossing or something like Ganondorf's jog and Wolf's limp, run, thing. Sheik, the ****** Sheikah, hops adorably.

Oh, and spoon spammers. How do they even have fun or find any sense of accomplishment from spamming moves over and over? Yesterday, I fought a Pikachu who spammed nothing but Thunder Jolt and Skull Bash. If I got close, then he spammed Thunder. At first it was like, great, another bloody spammer, but then I noticed something: I had about 1 second input delays. I ended up beating him, but I remember one thing that ****** me off and boggles my mind. 'Cause of the input lag, I ended up running off the ledge and couldn't recover, so I SD'd. The damn spammer taunts. Seriously, you didn't do ********, you bloody, freaking spammer. After that, I murdered the little ******.

You can sort of tell if someone's button-mashing in other fighting games. You can tell if people are trolling or wannabes in other multiplayer games 'cause of chat or perhaps their loadout like if they only use "OP" guns or whatever, but you can't tell in SSB4 if they're trolling or they legitimately think they're good players 'cause they spam Dash Attack over and over.

Thing is, the extremely fast pace of the thread is fun for the users, but it's an absolute nightmare to keep watch on. (I and Frost were the only mods who spent a significant amount of time here.) Some of the worst incidents in 3.0 were aggravated because no mods were watching when it when they happened, and it was stopped only after it spiralled out of control.

Only problems I have with the CPUs are the frame perfect counters, and the Diddy Kong's inability to recover properly.

The point isn't that Thunder Jolt can kill, it's too keep pressure on you and accumulate damage. If you're play to win, it's stupid to ignore an asset of your character. Projectile characters are in a good spot right now because of latency and the fact that, compared with any A button move or grab, projectiles have the same amount of potential to be followed up on. Hitstun is really low.
