Back in the day we had the best games available and those were colorful at that... now it's dark, gritty, boring, bland, and realistic. Meh, that's what Sony wants apparently.

Or sold him off to mobile games like what's going to happen with Sonic soon. His latest game was an indie title that was developed for the Windows Phone and I have yet to see if it's actually good (Since Konami likes being the lazy ******** they are).
omg he did say Skank.. oh my god noI kinda went in a weird order haha. I was born in '96, which was when IIRC the first Crash game came out, and played the game when I was about three-ish with my dad. Good times, really.
Then my consoles went in a weird order.
It's in the cutscene video I linked. And IIRC three of the four were from Cortex, which is...disturbing, all things considered. And the abortion line came from his niece. It just felt so...out of place in a Crash game.
Basically
- *Crash pulls a wrench thing out of his pocket, it's vaguely phallic in appearance* "How long has that been in your pants?"
- *sees Crash and Coco embracing after she's rescued. "Ugh, get a room, you two!" They're siblings.
- After his niece almost kills everyone, himself included, not only does he call her a skank (which is jarring in and of itself), but he says she's still gonna get a "good spanking" afterwards. Discipline is one thing, but considering he's like, an old man, and his niece is an older teenager, it had a really disturbing undertone.
- And then there was something about a robot that was ripe with innuendo.
And the abortion thing was basically, while in a robot, Cortex's niece said, "Get out of my robot! It's my body, and MY right to choose!"
What I want to know is what was the logic behind it. I get the whole "Rated M for Manly" shtick. But why Bomberman of all things? It's like trying to make Bubble Bobble dark and edgy. There's just some combinations that don't work.
It's like he's a reject Cyborg Ninja character from Mortal Kombat.
I remember the robot/machine one now.

Project M is still a thing? funny, everyone at my college doesn't play it anymoreI finally found the Smash scene at my school! Got to play some Project M and it turns out I'm not that bad at it. I mainly played Kirby and Yoshi and I'm definitely going to be spending a lot more time there.

W/L that's correct. I need to gather the money for a Wii U to practice more. I was outclassed pretty hard by a Capt. Falcon my last match in Singles.
A character who's dialogue consists of entirely innuendo sounds like a good thing.

I can be if done right, but not coming from Cortex. Cortex was always a bit loony, but never vulgar. That was the thing. It goes completely against his character.

Aku Aku was always my favorite.
We can blame smartphones and tablets for that. Consoles / handhelds are declining in sales in some form as a result.

Oh God I didn't even mention what Crash of the Titans did to Tiny...I liked Tiny Tiger. He was my favorite character.
Wario needs his bike and old dair, but muh warioland. Meanwhile, Shulk's stance change would be completely removed, and they'd change all his animations to be his two handed stance from Xenoblade. Y'know, boring.But of course.
