Of course you could always look at the forced pun I made. I know Chikorita's not exactly viable in combat (unless you enter it in a beauty contest, which by all means IS viable). Though, Meganium can be used for Defense purposes, but that's neither here nor there.

Here's the deal. I'm a very simple man. I'd like an adorable little banana flavored Chikorita for ****s and giggles because I can. Not many things make me squee, but show me a Chikorita and I want to jump through the screen and hug the cute little *******.

Not really. It just got to me because I got second on my first two matches during sudden death and because the person who kept getting first kept going after me after that first match. I ended up winning the fourth and fifth game before I got disconnected while trying to decide a character for the next match...
