Why are Gamepad and Wiimote controls so awkward for me?

I only played BlazBlue for the first just about a month ago, and it is easily one of my favorite game series already, mostly just from the writing.

For the life of me, I can't enjoy a game from that series. Not even for story mode.

For one thing, it's adjusting to another fighting metagame that makes it a hassle.
Another thing? The story mode has as many text boxes as Phoenix Wright. I can enjoy text boxes in that as it's designed to be a interactive visual novel. BlazBlue is a FIGHTING game. You scroll through a bunch of dialogue until you get to the part where the A.I. rips you apart.

I tried to manipulate fate one time.
I tried to make myself super pessimistic about Ghirahim getting in Smash so that it would make it so that he actually did.

maybe because it isn't your thing and your better with the handhold, thats like the opposite for me minus the playing for glory part

It's nowhere near as bad as it use to be. Breeding for a specfic HP is a *****, though.

I normally win those matches.

Also, as a side note, I love the 3ds Themes' theme music.

Possibly because of the layout. Wii Remote is bottom tier.

Counter is unreliable and is easily read.
edit: Unless you meant that when you use Marth/Lucina, it "counters" Little Mac. As in, putting him into a disadvantage.
