Everywhere. Everywhere and anywhere.
hey quilt wanna play ssf2 wit meyeah, actually
I don't spend much time on the forums anyway..
You worked on it? How?She'd fit great there too. Teach the kids about free will and dedication.
![]()
Having worked on Crusade, I can safely say that Crusade is not as popular as Flash 2.
I see waaaay more things about crusade for some reason. SSF2 was really popular the first few years it came out I think. I get a little bored of it after a while. But..anyway i can't even play crusade because they can't "get theryre hands on a mac" for some reasonI didn't know Crusade was a thing until about a month ago![]()
Tingle... I think.. Tingle...and his gandam style tauntYou worked on it? How?
Crusade is the other popular Smash fangame. It's rise to fame is that it has a large cast, but it criticized for its lack of quality control (namely the graphics).I don't even know what's Crusade tho![]()
Yes.Does she fit in a Dedede Costume?
YouYou worked on it? How?
The only reason I want to play Crusade is because they actually have an under appreciated character like Saki, but I can't play as himThey're direct rivals to each other. (Even though the devs are on friendly terms, the fans hate each other, but eh...)
Anyway, I prefer SSF2 to Crusade at least in part because the art style is actually consistent and doesn't scream "they just didn't care" like Crusade's graphics.
Really?? I guess Im in the minority i supposeHaving worked on Crusade, I can safely say that Crusade is not as popular as Flash 2.
I have. Though Link's bombs are beyond broken.Anybody heard of Super Smash Land? It's Smash Bros for the Game Boy. It's pretty fun.
True. And Pikachu is horribly underpowered.I have. Though Link's bombs are beyond broken.
For a few minutes. Then it gets pretty boring. I mean, only a few attacks, only a few characters...Anybody heard of Super Smash Land? It's Smash Bros for the Game Boy. It's pretty fun.
So...For a few minutes. Then it gets pretty boring. I mean, only a few attacks, only a few characters...
Thanks for letting me know. Now I shall not play Smash Land.True. And Pikachu is horribly underpowered.
With even less characters, yes.So...
SSF1?![]()
As long as you have every Senshi and Spider-Man in, you're good in my book.I'll stay as a weeaboo and play MUGEN then![]()
Considered playing it but turns out it's Windows-exclusive and my PC sucksI didn't know Crusade was a thing until about a month ago![]()
Any Smash game that is ridiculous enough to include Mr. Incredible gets a pass in my book. With even less characters, yes.
Even though SSF1 is an old shame, though, I do still enjoy it sometimes because it's such a ridiculous mess. It was only meant to be a personal time waster for one guy and his college buddies at first, anyway.
But Pokémon has the most characters in the game, though. Thanks for letting me know. Now I shall not play Smash Land.
Ehh, that's something I guess? Vaporeon is a weird choice (if that thing is in anyway). But Pokémon has the most characters in the game, though.
Not lying, Pokémon has two, while Mario, Kirby, Zelda and Mega Man all have one.
I heard about it, but it'd probably set the Game Boy on fire because it can only handle so much and Smash is intensive for a handheld, if you know what I mean.Anybody heard of Super Smash Land? It's Smash Bros for the Game Boy. It's pretty fun.
And Rebecca Black got cutBut Pokémon has the most characters in the game, though.

Is there any Golden Sun content?Just finished the 700 trophy challenge, so I have four challenges left. Since there's a total of 716 trophies in the game and I have 701, three of them will be from the challenges where I have to collect all custom moves, custom headgears, and CDs. I also have 9 "alt" trophies for characters left that would require luck in the Trophy Shop, and Iggy might be trophy shop eclusive as well. That leaves two more random drop trophies for me to collect or buy from the shop.
Still no luck on beating Classic on 9.0 without losing a life...I wonder how many CD's I still need to collect...
Only a song from Dark Dawn, unfortunately. Isaac isn't even an AT anymore. Is there any Golden Sun content?I don't have the Wii U version
Of course, but I need to download Spiderman again, I did a mess with my files and I lost some of them.As long as you have every Senshi and Spider-Man in, you're good in my book.
Why not add Karma and Nagisa as part of the Assassination Classroom one, Armin to the Attack on Titan and Judal and Jafar to the Magi? What's up? Been a while since I last posted here. Reduced activity and all that. Life keeps me busy.
Speaking of Smash fangames, an idea I had recently was about making a Smash Bros. fangame solely with content from anime/manga/light novel franchises.
I am aware that there are games with a similar premise, but I mean the exact same gameplay as Smash, but switching the Nintendo theme with a general manga/anime theme.
I've even made possible choices for characters and stages.
[collapse="Some ideas"]Characters, ordered by franchise:
Dragon Ball - Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell
Naruto - Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi
One Piece - Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami
Assassination Classroom - Koro-sensei
Blue Exorcist - Rin Okumura
Durarara!! - Celty Sturluson, Shizuo Heiwajima
Magi - Aladdin, Ali Baba
Soul Eater - Maka Albarn, Black Star, Death the Kid
Sword Art Online - Kirito, Asuna
Attack on Titan - Eren Yaeger
Fullmetal Alchemist - Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang
Fairy Tail - Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet
Nanatsu no Taizai - Meliodas
Rave Master - Haru Glory
Other series that could be represented: Kill la Kill, Code Geass, Madoka Magica, ...
And more. There's a lot to choose from, after all. I picked those characters out of series I know best or at least heard about enough. 30 isn't a bad number, though...
Gameplay notes and ideas:
- Goku and Naruto would be the jack-of-all-stats characters. Both would have chargeable projectiles and a wide variety of close combat abilities. Given they're very well known characters, I feel they would be best for them to be easy to learn, kind of like Mario in Smash. Naruto would be a bit faster, but weaker, whereas Goku would be heavier and stronger.
- Koro-sensei would be the fastest character, kind of like Sonic in Smash.
- Erza and Haru would be stance fighters, involving switching weaponry and armors (Erza) or sword abilities (Haru). Think Shulk, except more fancy.
- Alphonse Elric would be the heaviest fighter. Him and Edward have a lot of potential for unique movesets.
- Eren's Final Smash shouldn't be too hard to guess: his Titan form would be a transformation type Final Smash. Perhaps, he would have to be shrunken a little bit, though.
- Death the Kid would have a lot of projectile moves, given he wields two guns.
- Both SAO characters would, unsurprisingly, wield swords. Kirito has two swords and each would have its own proprieties, but overall, he would be a middleweight, mid-speed character. Asuna, having a rapier-like sword, would be akin to Marth in Smash.
Stages would be mostly based on the characters' series. Like Smash Bros., some would feature interactive elements:
- The stage from Attack on Titan would be generically called "City Inside the Walls". Players fight on top of some rooftops with differing heights, having some scattered platforms as well. The walls could be seen in the background and the Colossal Titan could show up at any moment. Once the wall is broken, Titans start to roam around in the background, sometimes attacking the players by crushing them with their huge hands. From time to time, Armin, Mikasa or Levi could appear and slice the Titans down and stop their attack for a while. Broken stage elements would regenerate after some time.
- The Durarara!! stage would be called "Ikebukuro Crossroad" and, as the name implies, would take place in the middle of a crossroad. Several characters from the series would appear in the background. A walk-off stage in which cars could come from the background or from the sides, depending on the traffic lights. Kinda similar to Onett.
- The stage from Assassination Classroom would be named just like the series. Taking place in a classroom, the Class E students would quietly sit in the background. Sometimes, they may try to assassinate one of the players. A lock-on marker would indicate their target before and during the attack.
- Death Note stage: the Shinigami World. A simple stage with no obstacles besides moving or fading platforms. The stage would have a dark atmosphere with several Shinigami seen floating in the background, including Ryuk. Sometimes, some of the dark clouds would open and reveal important scenes from the series (such as Light picking up the Death Note for the first time). This idea is mostly inspired by the Magicant stage in Smash Bros. 3DS.
Items and Assist Trophies would be present as well. Items could range from weapons to pivotal objects in the original stories. Assist characters could include:
- Shinigami-sama (Soul Eater) - Would appear and target a random foe with a Shinigami Chop before leaving. A obscenely powerful meteor smash if it manages to hit a airborne foe.
- Light Yagami (Death Note) - A very rare assist and for a good reason. Should he write a victim's name in the Death Note and it's an instant KO. He would say the target's name out loud while writing the name. He would then maniacally laugh before leaving.
- Lucy (Fairy Tail) - Summons a random Celestial Spirit. Each would have differing effects. For example, Aquarius could spawn a huge torrent of water, whereas Gemini would make a doppelganger of a random foe that lasted for a short amount of time.
- Scar (Fullmetal Alchemist) - Assists the summoner by grabbing a nearby foe and blasting him/her with powerful alchemical powers.
- Envy (Fullmetal Alchemist) - Can either transform in one of the foes, mirroring their moves, or unleash his true form and cause utter destruction. The latter has a rarer chance to happen.
- Excalibur (Soul Eater) - Would give utterly long and nonsensical speeches, sometimes singing his signature song in the process. Rarely, though, he could unleash his weapon form and send both summoner and foes to oblivion. Wouldn't be really helpful, would he?[/collapse]
That's enough rambling for a while, I guess. Well, I'll be off. See ya.
Vaporeon is a weird choice indeed. Should've beenEhh, that's something I guess? Vaporeon is a weird choice (if that thing is in anyway).
I usually don't pay attention to fan-made Smash games.
It's all right, but where's Taro Yamada? You can't have a proper anime fighter without him. What's up? Been a while since I last posted here. Reduced activity and all that. Life keeps me busy.

Now that's an insult to Plan 9 From Outer Space and you know it!tl;dr: If SSL is Waterworld bad, then SSF1 is Plan 9 from Outer Space bad.
Oh!:/ still two songs. I swear thats the only thing in SSB4 that doenst make any sense to me! Isaac, I think you'll agree, doesn't deserve to be cut entirely from the smash series like the other 7 missing ATs. I wonder what will happenOnly a song from Dark Dawn, unfortunately. Isaac isn't even an AT anymore.
Wow, I would think that Vaporeon was a wise choice, I mean we would all be asking the same question anyway if it was another eeveelution.Vaporeon is a weird choice indeed. Should've been.
