It's more than just alive. It got a respectable fanbase again after a dark plot a couple years ago, and a new company even bought it out of interest in its growing older audience.

Apex made them legal so it's gonna be legal. Just like how Apex limited Mii to 1111, so customs are doomed to never be used for the next many months. And how they banned Wuhu over a niche, requirement-heavy, luck-based nearly impossible glitch, Delfino for wtf reasons, and Skyloft which was more fine than most of the stages on their list those stages are getting banned in tourneys everywhere as I speak.
