Oh, Hajime no Ippo is a good anime if you're into boxing. It's action-y, funny, and sort of testosterone-filled. The main character is sort of like Little Mac, I think it's because they're both underdogs or something in the boxing world.

Lol, I saw that entire anime last month.


....but I disagree. For me, pain = anger. Enough anger = rage. Rage = something or someone gets hurt.

This is why I try my damnedest not to get into a fight. Not because I'm afraid of getting hit, but because I'm afraid of what happens after getting hit.

So I just got done speaking with a local organizer about how they might move their bi-weekly back one week so that their people could go play at an event upstate this weekend instead. The problem with that is that the organizer is going to be too busy to host the following weekend because they are leaving for New Jersey on the 22nd to see Apex and come back on the 25th.

Apex doesn't start until the 30th.

So it's a Rosario+Vampire case where the anime is solely fanservice with no plot but the manga is absolutely great with epic fights, character development and an actually awesome protagonist?

Actually the manga is even fanservice-ier than the anime, due to nothing being censored. However that goes both ways, since gore.

Meanwhile the plot (which does exist) doesn't get bogged down by ridiculous animation/jiggle physics. And gets good following episode/chapter 12.

Haha, that reminds me of a guy I fought with a tag of "u r lame" and I think he used Wario. I beat him and he promptly left. He wasn't even that great like he just waited for grabs, Wario Waft to build up, and tried juggling with Uair. That was all he did and coming from like 30 matches against a really good player and being able to do well with 21 characters for the hell of it against that player made this match just a slow punish and destroy game.
