What if people just wanted to play the game normally from the start?
It should have really been that easy mode was unlocked from the start in BOTH games, with challenge mode being unlocked after beating the game.
It's weird how one game got challenge and one got easy.
I mean I understand version differences and all, but really.

That's why Goodra is really useful with Thunderbolt and Aurorus with Freeze-Dry
Inb4 they had those moves but Gyarados still tanked them

I honestly cant remember but I think in the last fight before I gave up they pulled through. I know Goodra didnt have thunderbolt, thats for sure and I think Aurorus had Freeze-Dry.

I really liked the Challenge Mode in B2W2 the better AI and Levels really made the difference.
I got curbstomped by Cheren's Lillipup in my first Gym battle despite the fact I built a nice leveled team lol

I'm probably the only person who's not really interested in revisiting Kanto. I have a lot of love for those old games, but I'm just kind of burnt out of it at this point and I can't say a revisit would make me feel better about it.

Anyway, whenever the third version of XY comes out, I also hope it does have a difficulty setting at the beginning. I was glad that B2W2 had that option even though it could've been done better, and hopefully the next game will improve on that. I'm just worried it'll fall into GF's "this will be what makes this particular region unique" mindset and they omit it as a result.

Honestly I'm not fond of either but Duck Hunt is definetely more recognizeable than Ice Climber was.
