Competitive Melee is made better when someone picks a character with an annoying jump sound and then wavedashes all over the place.

As long as it isn't just spacies doing things I can't comprehend enough to be able to mimic, then I'm fine with watching competitive Melee. :cool:

I mostly play with items because laughing at opponents that got rekt by an Electrode before they could toss it never gets old.

I just play the games and don't give ****s about pointless garbage.

I mean, you have:
- butthurt Ganondorf fans that will complain about him being a Falcon (semi-)clone at any given opportunity
- Dark Pit haters, nuff said
- Wii Fit Trainer haters, nuff said
- tourney players arguing about which Smash Bros. is the best
- people hating on the 3DS because it's "inferior"
- people talking about which characters "deserve" to be in Smash
- people being ignorant about game development
- people whose behavior is more similar to a spoiled brat than a civilized human being
- humanity being humanity (= being stupid)

This community has a disease and I think I'm getting contaminated.

I mean, it's 2:44 AM and I'm still online. Sleep schedule is getting ****ed up again.

(Do I need to be less subtle about prospects for my future on this forum?)

It's not even real life stuff that this is getting in the way of. This site has never actually been a problem in that regard. It's actually cutting into my free time more. I'm trying to teach myself things I'm interested in, but due to how the internet works, I'll have the tab open, and then I'll be like "eh, I've got time and can do this later," and then come back a week later. When I start working, I can be productive, but the problem is getting started. Leaving this site wouldn't fix the problem, but it would be a huge step forward.

I've stopped coming before...then I came back whenever there's an upcoming Smash Bros. If you actually leave, good luck with your endeavors. Hope this forum didn't completely spoil your enjoyment of the actual games.

geez, I knew speculation became extremely unstable....but that seems worse....

Though, there's a reasons why I mostly post here only.

(and also because being way too busy with Paper Mario projects that I didn't play smash since months....).

Actually, one thing I love about this thread is it doesn't HAVE to be only about smash.

Which is weird considering the site the thread is :)

That's what I like about it, too. Talking only about Smash can get boring at times (as with everything else).
