I wanted freemium at first; however, I realized that someone already took the username "Morbid." I just wanted simplify my name a little bit (and avoid the foreseeable autism jokes).

If I won, I could rename myself "666DatAin'tFalco69FalcoFan420Blazin'FalcoSwag." Unless there is a character limit, I suppose.

Except that's what Sakurai said, he stated that his team were given the designs of the Gen 6 Pokémon, saw Greninja, and went with him. Nothing that has been said or done by either Sakurai or GF since has shown that the latter was whispering in his ears saying "pick Greninja!" They haven't advertised it anymore then Delphox or Chesnaught, it didn't get a bigger role in the movie then the other two (in fact, I think Chesnaught's was slightly more notable in it IIRC), no toyline differences, manga appearances, etc. If they really had Sakurai put him in with the intent of marketing him, they haven't been that successful in that regard at all. It's just been treated as another starter so far.

As for why they didn't pick Chesnaught, we don't know. Nothing says that he couldn't have picked him (or Delphox) considering he's a starter and comes with marketability based on that, it just wasn't in the cards for him at that particular moment.

I could see where you're coming from... but I just find both statements a bit contradictory, unless, like I said before, there's more leeway now. We'll have to see on Greninja's future in regards to marking then. Actually, I'm going to bring it up in the Character Discussion thread to see what others think.

There's rumors of a Remake of Twilight Princess........IN THE NEW 3DS

At that point in time, they barely existed yet anyway, and for the most part Gen 6 pokemon were on the wayside in terms of advertising compared to Mega Evolutions like Charizard (especially X), Mewtwo and Lucario. So with that in mind, it's definitely possible that they did give him that much leeway.

Wind Waker's visuals were considered to be the most improved, so that is why they released it on the Wii U. They tested TP and SS during the planning stages.. but who knows.

Out of all the ways to evolve a Pokemon, my favorite and least favorite are in the same gen.
Favorite (Pangoro): Level up to 32 or higher with a dark type pokemon in your party.
Least (Malamar): Level up to 30 or higher while holding the 3DS upside down...seriously?
