so who else thinks lucas is the funnest brawl character to play?

so, i've been playing brawl alot now, and for me while alot of the characters are nice, i play mostly bowser, ganon, falco, and pikachu, but for some reason when i play lucas i just seem to have more fun, maybe its his variety of moves and all the weird little tricks you can do with him, but i just think he is one of the best designed characters and is just darn fun to play with. anyone think the same as me?

There's just something about hearing him yell out his attack names that just makes everything cooler.

I sort of agree to your statement, but I think that Ness is more fun. I do not have an intrest in bland characters, and I will never ever will have an intrest in them. Ness isn't bland, nor is Lucas, but Ness has more to learn than Lucas. More learning=more intrest to me.

Ness hasn't changed since 64. A few nerfs and buffs here and there but all the same moves.
This thread is about lucas being funner than the other characters and I completely agree. I play samus, zamus, DDD, lucas, and luigi...and everytime I go to lucas after playing one of the others the game just gets alot funner.

Yes. for me, Lucas and Ness are the most fun characters to play in the entire game.

they have ultra stylish and cool specials, fun playing styles, and they just FEEL good to control. They also have a bit of comedy to them and are just quirky and interesting in general, and come from quirky and interesting games.

Although I have to say that Lucario is up there, but it's a different kind of fun.

Not a really big Lucas fan, his similarities to Ness irritate me whenever I have to play him for some reason (I love Mother 2). I personally avoid playing Lucas altogether, but thats just my opinion. I main as Peach, who I find very fun to play with due to her playstyle and humor. Wario, however, is just too fun to play with IMO, DSpecial kills are WAY too good

I love how he makes those bzzap!! noises. Neutral A, woo-hoo!

Plus, he says the funniest things when he dies. YOOOW and oOOOoOOOoO (when he goes into his star animation). Not that I like hearing them at teh same time he's dying, but in sound test, it's funny.

Yesterday, Lucas was actually my 'Character of the Day'.

I hadn't used him too much yet, probably because I haven't played Mother 3, but something about him had always seemed interesting. So I decided to learn how to use him properly, and it ended up being a lot of fun.

I won a lot of matches against my friends, and I found that I am quite good with him. He suits my style very well, and he seems to be a great counter for Sonic, who my friend uses constantly. I think Lucas will become one of the characters I use often.

Lucas is very fun to play. Sometimes, when I'm playing against people worse than me, I'll spam PKT2 and try to do tricks on stages with pass-through floors (delfino, halberd, etc). Also, magnet kills! PK Freeze is pretty hilarious too. And b-air makes for very stylish spikes.

Great character. I'd say PT or Zelda/Shiek is pretty fun too though, for variety.
