I mean can you guys figure out a program that would require you to put the Brawl Disc in the (E:) drive (or whatever drive to put is disc) for coding and stuff? Since the replay file are just "instruction for the game" to recreate the match due to button mushing or something can you can use a program to make use of the actual game disc to get all the coding and stuff?

I'm sorry if you guys don't understand what I'm trying to say. ;/ I'm a noob to computer stuff.

No. You'd have to emulate the entire game to be able to make a video from a replay.

The replays aren't video files rather then their data that saves your button inputs and recreates the fight. However with the unlimited replay codes it's easy to capture videos now. Im sure you have a camera on your laptop, phone, camcorder, etc to record videos.

As people are saying, the .bin files just contain the button inputs from what you did, so you'd basically need the entire game to support the file.

Talk about useless!

and I think if you emulate it from Dolphin it supports SD cards, so you can run the .bin file directly from the SD card and record it on your computer

He's asking for some sort of "program" that could record replays. That falls under the same category as programs like Stage Studio, which are also on this board.

If it's not for brawl+,bbrawl etc wouldn't he of just posted this in general discussion where all the other topics for this same exact question is at?
No. Those questions ask if there is a way. This question asks if programmers in the brawl community can make a way.

You also can't code it to read the disk in your CD/DVD drive because the majority of drives out there can't read Wii disks.
And imo, if your computer is powerful enough to run Dolphin and emulate Brawl, you might as well buy a capture card and just record it that way. Besides, you can't run codes on Dolphin yet, so you'd only be able to record normal Brawl matche.s
