...Magnemite, Geodude, Onix(?), Grimer, and Voltorb(?)?

Oh, and although Team Rocket > Team Galactic, Cyrus >= Giovanni.
I said it.
Sorry, what I meant to say was "household appliance". xD

About the IV comment- personally, I think they're a good aspect. Adds a "genes" factor to the Pokemon.
And I heard something about breeding for specific IVs to be passed on being easier in HG&SS via held item. .-.
GAH I can't wait to get SoulSilver. <333 I'm hoping to convince my friend's mom to stop at GameStop on our way back from A&G Ohio, which'll coincidentally be on March 14.

Zorua's cute, and I like it. Zoroark... It's pretty good.
I still think they're trying to replace Vulpix, though. <<

how are they gunna top arceus in terms of legends?

isnt he like the pokegod?
lol, they went too fast to get to the peak of legendaries.
All they can really do now is make opposite pkmn that rival them, same power level but just look way different and maybe a dufferent type :/

What do you mean they went too fast? It's been over ten years lol
They went too fast because Pokémon is far from over yet. Even if it's been 100 years, if they intend to keep making games, making a Pokémon with the highest possible stats (i.e. 999 in each stat), the ability to switch its Ability at will, the ability to learn every move (and having infinite moveslots) is a very poor choice, because nothing will ever be able to top it and therefore every Pokémon henceforth is totally anticlimactic.

However, Arceus isn't a god, as the Poké Center has decided. If he were a god, he would be able to learn every move and would be unbeatable. But he isn't. I've beaten him with Shaymin, for crying out loud. Multiple times. And ONLY Shaymin.

Its Diamond Pokédex entry is "It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms." (And its Pearl and Platinum entries tell similar godly tales, but have it prefaced with an "it is said" or "it is told".

My theory is that people decided they liked Arceus so they decided he's a god. Just because mythology says it doesn't mean its true. Mythology also describes Zeus/Jupiter as the King of Gods, but if you went up to anyone nowadays and tried to tell them that Zeus/Jupiter actually exists, they would laugh at you, run away, or something along those lines.

hmm very interesting points.
if he was, however, the god of pokemon mabye this legend in the 5th gen will be the "devil" of pokemon. cuz Girintina is a *****. but who knows well have to wait and see i guess.

i do like your points about the real god should be unbeatable and should be "all knowing" with moves and types. they could top arceus now that i think about it like that.

Maybe they mean god in the sense that it created everything. It could be more like the Norse/Greek/Hindu gods that weren't unstoppable but were just extremely strong and viewed as divine for the things they did.

I agree though, Arecus is in no way a "supreme god" that it can do everything and is all powerful.

of course theres the age old question, if god created everything, what created god?

mabye arceus has a creator himself.

no i have no intentions of this turning into a religious debate. im just saying mabye there is a pokemon who controls dimensions? like arceus is the "pokeGod" of that dimension. this might be why there is no other pokemon where girintina lives?

idk, now im just going off into some other **** lol

I always liked Mew more. Such a cute little dude. He's also the only unobtainable Pokemon (not glitching) and that sort of made him a much cooler character to me -- he's like, the only one that can't actually be tamed. That makes him pretty rad.

theres a legit way to get mew in the original games that doesnt involve a gameshark or anything. its kind of a glitch though.
