In the Zelda ditto, Please remember that Zelda's grab sucks, And there for the other person is most likely rarely going to grab you. It's basically whoever camps more. And if you whiff an kick, your just increasing the chance of them counter kicking you. So use your shield more in the zelda ditto. You're trying to play like you got the wall of pain or something lol.

Vs Captain Falcon.
Don't do those full hop kicks. A whiff, or a hit on their shield puts you above falcon. And you Never ever want to be there. And don't just shoot kicks in his direction. Do alot more retreating kicks, and if he's way too far away then you can approach a little bit. I didn't see like any empty short hops, or wave-land back in kicks. Jumping away will lure in falcon, But then wave land off a platforms edge and into a kick back toward him will catch him off guard. Assuming he's not expecting it. Try a short hop kick, and before you hit the ground waveland, for additional spacing.

I think you are just basically trying to approach too much, and full hopping way too much. Need to think way more defensive. Sitting in the shield thing is alot harder against falcon, because he's so fast, it's hard to tell if he's gonna shffl last minute, or grab. And you never want him to grab, so stay moving and mobile, and if you notice, he starts beating you cuz he realizes he needs to be patient and just wait in between your kicks to get in on your attacks. Falcon is definitely fast enough to easily jump in between kicks, So don't spam them. Despite everyone saying "just spam kicks" you actually can't do that.

rewatch that vid. I bet you'll see how he got in. Either from a full hop kick, or inbetween double kick spam. He did go for a few approaches that worked like throwing out a knee/N-air.

You can crouch cancel his N-air into a few various counter attacks pretty easily. But this is risky because Stomp, and Knee will dominate your attempts at crouch cancelling, and a delayed up-air is kind of hard to counter attack as well.

Helpful Advice
You are right about how I'm flailing toes like I have a wop. I was hoping toes would intimidate most players. It didn't seem to work against Plank.

The full jump toes are a habit because a lot of the time, people try to SHFFL to approach, so their attacks may go under me while I hit their head. I have terrible reflexes (0.25 seconds), so I do it out of prediction.

I've been trying to find creative ways to implement wavelanding into her game, but I haven't been creative yet. I think her sliding friction is slowing me down. Short hop toe wavelands? This sounds fun. Must try.

When my opponent has a stock lead but at high percent, I tend to rush for toes. I start getting impatient for kills.

Thanks for the tips.

No problem guys, Just giving out tips based on my experiences. Feel free to ask more questions, I'll help as much as I can. Helps me more to see a video though, Because I can easily see mistakes you make. Preferably a video of where you aren't making many mistakes, but you still lose.

Videos where you win, (especially by a large margin) I can't really give much advice

Lol, No sweat. I use to think the same for Marth back in the day with his double F-airs.

So you're asking how to cancel her free fall animation right after an aerial Din's Fire. You can't, unless you edge cancel, but her land fall special lag animation is only 4 frames.

Also, I now realize why Din's Fire is so bad. Anyone can see it coming. People can either run right passed it and hurt you. Or they can wait for it to explode, then run right at you and hurt you. It'll only work on someone brainless, aka Nana so I've heard.

Yeah you can't cancel her helpless fall after din's fire. However Din's is not "Useless".

Not a move you can randomly throw out w/o a trick up your sleeve, while your opponent is in full control of their character.

(Something really bad happened to me this match. I was off. As in, extra off my game)
Imma try to get me vs falcon matches recorded. Maybe I can get me vs Darkrain at CEO.
I'll probably get *****, Falcon is a very hard match up for Zelda. He's so fast its easy for him to bait you which is what he did alot. You kept using moves thinking he was approaching when he was just faking you out. That's why I mentioned you should empty hop. Or kick away, into wave-land away ect.

Just keep playing, Experience will get you somewhere, and don't be afraid to play to learn. Experiment against these falcons, and see what works for you or doesn't. One way of playing might work for one Falcon player, and it might not work for another player of somewhat the same caliber.

IMO G-reg was playing pretty aggressive, looked like he was just trying to overpower you with speed/combos with some baiting(Mostly first match).

That second falcon, was playing way more passive. Probably not what your use to, especially with those charged smash attacks >.>; if you played your cards a little better he shoulda been punished for those. As in fake approach.
