... I would make a full statement, but I don't argue with my own crew mates. However, I'm going to leave a comment for you. You're horrible to say such a thing... Jared made a good point with his post. GA says that the Smash scene isn't lacking, yet we decline new venues? Kind of ironic isn't it? I expected better of you at the very least man >.<
Careful Rodent. You've been anything but a crew mate to me. I'm not gonna get into it with you here, but if you want to continue this another time and place then let's.
For the record, I will jump behind my friends that have experience with the smash tourney scene that I have good rapport with, as opposed to a new venue that charges a high door fee for a relatively small tourney whose representative behaves in a manner that can be taken as offensive.

I'm under the impression that you simply don't want to come because you feel you might have a better chance to win this Waba Games tournament, but you're quite obviously naive if you think that the VENUE is any factor in the growth of the Ga smash community. Venues are trashy, and always function as a direct result of some uninformed game store owner trying to cash in on a popular tournament scene. Because we deny them the chance to charge double entrance fee simply to stand in their presence is insulting. I don't care too much for your attitude about the Ga Smash scene as though you have this huge influence or something. Not all of Columbus follows your long and numerous posts as a holy scripture.
If anything, we NEED to be shunning tournaments like Waba Games to illustrate that extortion through Smash Brothers is not something the Ga Smash community tolerates. Instead, you're sending the message that their door fee is a small price to pay, and to please continue and charge outrageous amounts of money for sub par smash tournaments. You know what my last tournament cost me? 10 dollars. All day, teams and singles. Why the hell would I pay that one weekend, and then spend 5 dollars in gas getting to duluth to play in a smaller tournament that's twice as expensive as any other? If they could at least offer a higher number of people in attendance, or something to make the experience worthwhile, instead all they offer are rude comments and money grubbing tendencies.
