All right, looks like I can make this, so I have rides for three Ann Arbor area smashers. Let me know if you want a ride, my car is diesel and gets like 40 miles to the gallon so gas split upwards of 5 ways should be cheap. I may have to leave the tourney around 3 though, so no promises about rides back unless you want to leave early too.
Edit: Large tvs often have a game mode to turn off upscaling of the video input (which I think is what causes the lag), have you tried this on the plasmas?

Randizzle, that sounds doable. It would certainly be easier if you could get a drop-off in town, but if not I can come out there; it only adds about half an hour to the trip (according to google).
Currently I have to be back in Ann Arbor by 5-ish, so if you want a ride back when I leave at 3 I'd have to drop you off in Ann Arbor.

Don't worry Randizzle you'll get to play me sometime during the summer. I'll be going to M6 or that tourney in GR on 6/23, idk which one yet. Ya I took 9 stock, but that's cause those guys were garbage, I'm not that good.

OK, so I think Enzyme (who was previously planning on riding with me) is now going to drive up separately. This should alleviate early-leaving concerns.

Alrights, if I pick up DBS and Lain... it'll be approx 400miles trip altogether,
About 14-15 gallons of gas will be used so about 17 dollars between the 3 of us -.O???
If we get a 4th it'll be like 13 dollars a pers.
If I'm lucky I'll be able to drive my mom's car as opposed to mine with the horrible oil leak...(And get better gas milage too... woop woop)
If some random change of fate or mind happens I'll post it sometime early tomorrow morning, otherwise I'll set off at like 8 or sometime reasonably later than that. But yah, gimme yer addresses.

anther, I'll be a fourth. I think I'd be less out of the way for you guys in comparison to the ann arbor people that have to drive 20 miles in the opposite direction.

Well, google says it's 128 miles to the venue, my car gets about 40 miles per gallon, and it runs diesel so gas is only $3 a gallon instead of $3.50+. So, (128/40)*3/2 = roughly $5.

actually, i'll hold off my decision for a few hours. I might be bringing a friend that can take me to ann arbor where i'd be able to meet up with lain and others and go with those guys, since that's probably easiest for everyone. I'll let you guys know later today.

I'll only be there for 3 hours, but Enzyme is also driving and isn't leaving early. So if you want to catch a ride, you can meet up with us in ann arbor. I still have two spots open in my car (three if you don't mind sitting in the middle), so we can fit randy&friend or DBS & Anther, and the other two can ride with Enzyme.
Although that could be tight on the way back. Not sure how many seats Enzyme has.

^_^ mikey as my partner. glee. i was the 4th (tied with randizzle) best smasher there, so i expected to get at least 2nd. but hurray first! i did my share of killing also, which made me happy. it was great teaming with you mikey. i hope we can possibly do that again in the future and get better with our dynamics and such. i'm brushing up on my teams so i promise i won't be too awkward during the battles. you're me hero mikey. when my peach grows up it wants to be just like you. i showed anther a taste of some mikey prowess during friendlies =]

DBS, it's great as hell playing you. the funniest matches i played today were with you. we need to fox ditto a lot more yeah? maybe we won't dance like morons for half a minute off the stage failing at shinespiking each other. it's seriously joyous to play ya.
Anther, i hate you. you're too good. one day i'll be up to your speed. one day... but until then i'll put my head down and take it.

I had fun. Watched some pretty amazing games between bigy and mikey. Ate a good sandwich. Played some guitar hero on one of their big plasmas.
Anther, your pika gets more amazing everytime and your ICs are have given me enough of a reason to learn what do with sheik's down+b. I gave zelda some tournament play with ankoku though, so that's a start.
Lain, you think so? I really don't care. I have enough fun just messing around but your G&W definitely beats mine in dittos. give fox a try next time, it's getting lot better from last time i saw it. your falco was doing ok to my marth, but kinda had trouble against sheik... oddly enough. I'd like to smash some more with you sometime soon. I learned a few new tricks against falco from playing you today so i figure it's pretty helpful for me, so i'll forgive you this time. Next time, you pull **** like that on me again, I cut you.

Can't believe Fallen practically obligated me into Doubles >.< Payback by eliminating you and him from the brackets, Rand :D. Nice teaming with you, korora. We had a bumpy start, but it really picked up by our second set. Biggy and Anther lost in a major upset to DICK NBOX XD.
Had some fun in singles. Got paired up first rounf against Rand, because seeds must really want to see how far they can test me, or something. Had an interesting conversation regarding Marth's colors while getting chaingrabbed in the Sheik ditto. Whoever John is, you seem to have had a very backwards selection in terms of picks and counterpicks. Ganondorf to my Sheik was odd enough, but counterpicking Final Destination and switching to Pika when I'm staying with Sheik? I didn't think I'd have to see that happen until Anther. Which never happened, because Anther didn't give me the pleasure of fighting his Pika. Playing his Falco is making me rethink my characters' purposes, though... Sheik going anti-space animal, among others. Stay tuned to see how many other backwards decisions I make.
lain, I'm going to keep adding $0.10 each time we see each other at a smashfest/tourney and miss the MM. Keep $0.35 handy next time, lol.
Perky's sandwiches are AWESOME. 'Nuff said about that.

Maybe that's why VDog played him during that one length of time. nubbyash, were you Animan? Mr. Game & Watch is a rather odd choice for a main.... so good luck.

Doubles were fun, kinda too bad I couldn't stay for singles...
Ankoku, sorry I was lame at doubles. I'm used to playing doubles with a guy whose playstyle I know really well, so I'm' used to working in close quarters with him. But no johns, right? I feel much better about losing (twice) to **** & NBox seeing that they took bigy and anther down. And at least we didn't lose all our matchups!
Kail & Luladin, while playing you guys in teams feels a little futile, those were by far the most entertaining matches I had.
