How does everybody like the new skin?

Personally, I think its ok at best.

I miss the old skin.

I wish they would let us use it still.

I think the new skin's pretty good.

If I was a newcomer to smashboards right now, I'd definitely enjoy the look.

But I already do miss the old one. I felt it had character lol

I always used Classic Blue, and as long as it's an option, I always will.

Because it is how I first saw Smashboards; and how I shall keep it.

however I must say after viewing the new one, that I am not quite happy with it. too much rainbow.

It heavily favors brawl which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I think it should have some sort of representation from all three games.


And I always use Classic Blue anyway. *high fives TRC*

I think the skin looks good, definitely gives smashboards the feel that its more then just a random forum for a random game, which is honestly how smashboards before looked like. Its more organized, especially for finding things like rulesets/tierlists, which can be found on the main page now. I'd say its a step in a good direction.

the skin now has a professional appeal to it now.
all we need now is an index page of sorts to broadcast important videos/streams on the main page as updates to the metagame/community

It's good overall. I just think that the super big icons for quote, report, and edit are a little overboard. They made a real good job linking to the regional boards from the INFO button, but I think they might need a little more professional banner to make it solid.

There is nothing wrong with expressing our opinions about this in a mature manner.

Good news is that the Revolution skin IS actually making a return as an selectable option.

I hate the new look because of what Ian said: too much rainbow. I'm sticking with the old one
