you realize sakurai has no obligation to make these texture swaps right? Nintendo has no obligation to relase a module to allow the use of gamecube controllers. All sakurai and nintendo have to do is release the game, all the extra features are extra. Nintendo could release today and still have this game be one of the most sold nintendo games, but yet Sakurai and the rest of his development team still do all of this extra stuff to please the ungrateful fans such as you.

Your logic sounds like one shall not have the right to dislike anything... to not have an opinion about something that is negative to the subject... there's always a right to speak ye know...

This game is supposed to be the best smash bros game ever made, according to all the little details in the game, the massive content etc. So why am I ungrateful when i say the outfit of one of the veteran fighters is not right the way it's presented now?

Besides this, your strange reason for not releasing the game by now since nintendo could release it any day, is complete nonsense also. The game is released at a moment when it is sold mostly. The holidays, and besides that, the game has very high expectations, not just by me but every critical reviewer, gamer, journalist etc. They are going to write about the game so the game has to be nearly perfect before it is released. THOSE are reasons for not releasing the game already.

About Sakurai, i know he's not creating the whole game by itself, but he's the one making decisions and saying yes or no to mostly everything. And yeah, he's just the only person we know to speak about so it's easier to say Sakurai instead of random gamedeveloper at Sora.

You are ungrateful because you and many others are complaining on public forums about something "more" that the development team should have done. you know nothing about game development at all and how long it takes to make new models. This maybe Sakurai's best effort to recreate this outfit and yet spoiled brats like you complain it is not enough despite knowing nothing.

I DO know about gamedeveloping. If these guys from Project M can do it, then the original game SURELY can. Don't try to teach me a lesson. And if you think this is sakurai's best effort, than you don't know about gamedeveloping or even Sakurai. It's possible to change villager to 4 different models, so why is it so hard according to you to just remove Link's hat? Just removing the hat, but sakurai did his best and only altered the color? He made a different Wario, then why not Link?)

Maybe I am spoiled, I'm not a brat (once again thanks for the nice words). I just want to see the best looking smash, just like Sakurai and the whole team behind smash.

yah sorry but you are a spoiled brat and a moron, how can you compare the PMBR to an actual development team? there is no risk for the PMBR because they are under no obligation to build the game, meaning they can waste time they don't need on arbitrary things such as alternate costumes. where as Sakurai's development team is on a time crunch and has to rush to meet deadline meaning cut content. though this goes to show that you have no idea about anything about game development. your whining about this is unnecassary, unless you can actually learn to make a game and models from you have no right to complain, you need to learn your place, you want to see "the best looking smash" even though you have no idea what that maybe.

And also, the pic of THIS day shows that they actually DO have time to make alter models. Little mac has his pink hoodie costume. This means that there IS time to do stuff like that.

So, I still believe that Link can also have that hat-less costume. There's no rushing to the deadline and they don't have to cut stuff. The game is just planned at a specific time for special reasons. Marketing reasons that is... when a game is finished, it won't be released immediately. There's always a specific moment when the game would be selled best. Like right before holidays.

Anyways, comparing PM team with the actual smash team IS a good comparisation if you ask me... Team PM actually builds on from what the original gamedevelopers have created.
And given the fact that they have time to alter costumes like for little mac, I don't see why they decided not to remove Link's hat and give him the proper costume it was supposed to be.

actually here is the thing, in his entrance animation regardless of what he is wearing he takes that outfit off, in making this an alternate outfit they just reused his entrance model, they didnt take the time to make a new one they just re-rigged an old model they already had made. you are right on one point by the fact the release date was set for marketing reasons but you fail to realize that the development team has no ability to control tha date as it was set by Nintendo. but back to your sheer stupidity comparing the PMBR to sakurai's development team, they did not have to build PM from scratch whereas Sakurai's team had to make everything from the ground up in all of the games. you still have so much to learn I would advise that you stop talking because all you are doing is sounding even more of a spoiled brat "wahhhh I want sakurai to make a hatless link and take time away from actual development wahhh"
