I don't think there is such a thing as serious trolling. To troll is to post something in a seemingly serious tone, but do not be fooled, for it is not serious and the troll is simply joking. You seriously have to be trolling.
From what I can gather, sticker star was a big departure from the RPG style Paper Mario had up to that point. Also, using stickers just kind of seems like a weird and not very good concept for a game.Dunno what to say about this stage, I don't care about Paper Mario. And what's the big deal with Sticker Star? It seems that everybody hates that game.
Sticker Star is considered the worst Paper Mario game but I wouldn't call it a bad game. It had some issues with the gameplay design whihc were questionable (like no place the store important stickers than your album which is full of them leaving little to no room for others.) Also back tracking to area you need stickers for as well as a lack of charm and story in the game (heck bowser barely shows up and never talks). It felt very lacking compared to the other games in the series. Even Super Paper Mario while completely different gameplay had a great story and characters.Dunno what to say about this stage, I don't care about Paper Mario. Do you normally like rpg's? Otherwise, from a retrospective view, there should be no expectations for it and you would pass off your lack of entertainment simply for not liking the genre. Sticker Star is a completely different game from Thousand year door, the only similarity being asthetic. Its understandable to like sticker star more if you have never really enjoyed any RPG. They are known for having slower and more methodical styles, so it being boring (especially if you doing get into the story, its one of every rpg's keystone element).I found TYD really boring. I don't have it, but I played it an my friend's and it was REALLY boring IMO. Sticker Star was a lot more interesting.
I actually usually enjoy RPG's. TTYD plot was just boring, find the treasure, open this special door, far too bland. Of course, Super Paper Mario may be tied with it since IMO that wasn't very good either.Do you normally like rpg's? Sakurai could have also used the Dedede boxing ring from Kirby Super Star.Palutena's Temple is the Kid Icarus stage for the Wii version, in the same way that Reset Bomb Forest is the Kid Icarus stage for the Nintendo 3DS. That doesn't mean that Viridi is a playable character and was not a clear indication that Palutena is a playable character.
Mario Galaxy is even more clear. It's clearly a Mario stage and was not clearly a "Rosalina Stage" at the time.
He never revealed Boxing Ring as "For the first time, a Punch-Out!! stage." He even threw us off by using a Smash Logo instead of the WVBA logo.
i prefer goombarioThey need to add Goombella for sure!
...
We at least need a Paper Mario related assist trophy.
im honestly really surprised that people consider tyd to be the superior paper mario game; when i played it it just seemed really odd, and a lot sillier than paper mario 64, which isnt necessarily a good thing in my opinion. Honestly, my favorite paper mario was the original one, followed by super paper mario, which combined platforming elements and "goomba stomping" method of defeating enemies that mario is known for with the world of paper mario which, even if some think it wasnt amazing, it was at least something different.Do you normally like rpg's? I haven't played any of the games extensively, so I can't really call it my favorite of the series, but I still love The Thousand Year Door to death. I would probably do a couple more run throughs if it weren't so easy. I am planning on getting the original to try it out. I don't know much about the the Wii version (never been a fan of any game of a franchise I love on that system...), but I have read many reviews on sticker star and seen the game play a couple times. It is a fine game, though some things are questionable (I strongly hate the *idea* of only using items, etc...). The reason I am not fond of it is the creator originally said it would return to the style of TTYD when he started (over the Wii versions more platformer-esque nature), but then released Sticker Star (which only shares the brand and art style...).im honestly really surprised that people consider tyd to be the superior paper mario game; when i played it it just seemed really odd, and a lot sillier than paper mario 64, which isnt necessarily a good thing in my opinion. I'm sorry that makes no sense what so ever. Willy Castle was for mega man, tortimer island was for villager. Each new character so far has gotten their own stage on both versions of SSB4 (why do you think they bothered porting boxing ring and willy castle to 3ds?). I'm not saying "PAPER MARIO CONFIRMED" but this in no way hurts his chances.By that logic, showing Tortimer Island hints at Tortimer being playable and showing Wily Castle hints at Dr. Wily being playable. Those stages, unlike the Paper Mario stage, are not tied to a single character but rather a franchise with multiple potential characters, including characters that are already represented in the game, such as Mario and Pikachu.
Time to say something that hopefully won't get me bashed, I hated Thousand Year Door and think Sticker Star was the best Paper Mario.
I prefer Miss Bowi prefer goombario
Not trolling, but you were probably joking anyway. : P...wait, what? Are you serious? You're just trolling, right? There is no way...
Like, some bosses in that game require you to have a certain sticker to beat them or they become near impossible. That game is riddled with bad game design. One boss I remember was the Giant Cheep-Cheep that would recover HP faster then you could dish damage if you didn't have a combo of the Fish Hook sticker and shiny stickers. Another boss I repeatedly died at was the Cactus boss. Literally had to die before that sticker crown that follows you made a suggestion to use the bat. Then the last boss I got trashed by before I said screw it and went to GameFaqs was the Squid Boss.
Thousand Year Door might have been on the easier side of RPGs but at least it allowed freedom in battle unlike Sticker Stars. There are more bosses that require set stickers to beat and if you don't have them you'll lose no matter how many Mega Shinies are in your arsenal. Speaking of stickers, that whole system is stupid. It encourages avoiding battles to save good stickers for bosses when half the fun of Paper Mario games are the battles.
But to each there own, I guess...
How does it deconfirm him?Just leaves Mario Party now...
I mean, Mario Golf and Tennis are also franchises, but they are nowhere near as popular as Mario Kart, Paper Mario and Mario Party. Mario Party is actually really iconic to Mario (before Wii Party, anyway!), unlike generic sports games or Mario Kart.
I believe this deconfirms Paper Mario completely and utterly, though.
YESSSSSS MISS BOW FOR SMASH 2014I prefer Miss Bow
Slapping the SH** outta people since the year 2000!
Becasue Paper Mario probably doesn't warrant a character and a stage like this. If the character was revealed first, a stage would be necessary. However, the stage is revealed first. How does it deconfirm him?
Yeah. This doesn't mean ''Paper Mario confirmed,'' but it's pretty nice to see a stage based upon it on Smash Bros. 3DS.Becasue Paper Mario probably doesn't warrant a character and a stage like this. Before someone says Sprit Tracks: Toon Link is a veteran and is extremely important to representing his series. Paper Mario isn't in the same league as Toon Link at all,
Boxing ring was shown off first, Little mac confirmed later on. Mario galaxy stage shown first, Rosalina confirmed later on.Becasue Paper Mario probably doesn't warrant a character and a stage like this. I think your forgetting the Mario Galaxy stage being revealed before Rosalina's announce.Becasue Paper Mario probably doesn't warrant a character and a stage like this. If the character was revealed first, a stage would be necessary. However, the stage is revealed first.

Yeah but you can't really say that Mario Galaxy stage is connected to Rosalina. Sure it's the series she was introduced in, but Mario and Luigi were the playable characters in both of those games so it's not really proof of Rosalina's addition to the game. (Keep in mind I like Rosalina being playable)I think your forgetting the Mario Galaxy stage being revealed before Rosalina's announce.
I can understand why people enjoy the second 2, just not as the best paper mario games. The problem I have with them is they basically shafted any chance (mainly sticker star) of getting a true successor...I own all 4 games, and I can say that the best games were the first two. I don't understand why people like SPM or SS, so I hope any representation for the series is done by the original 2. The 3rd and 4th, aside from destroying the semilinear adventure in a large connected world and making actual levels, also doesn't have the same feel. If Paper Mario is a character, base him off of TTYD and 64, with partners and not the Pixls or the Navi-esque Kersti.
