No, I'm more concerned about a lack of game depth and the game turning very linear like other fighters. I'm not sure how this is going to balance the game for the better or make competitive play any better (which is the only thing I really care about)

I think its a great thing all around. I can get behind it. Im sure there are more surprises to the gameplay we dont know about. Never doubt sakuari.

Samurai got tired of the cpu's and players who accept defeat spam that when playing him. They probably did that on purpose

I'm sure clever players intent on breaking the game will find still find an infinite to abuse sumwhere; unless they are REALLY super serious about the balance this time.
If ice chumpies return, i wonder if the developers will AGAIN overlook their potential for crazy wombo-combo-like chain grabs.

I just realized that his foot is clipping through her lol

I think he is hitting her with the bottom of his foot not the front.
He is either preforming a round house kick or its the last kick in his flurry kick animation but is a larger/stronger version of those kicks that will knock her away.
