I would just hope that everyone has matured since that time. I still have the various "**** the police" PMs people sent me buried within my inbox. I have no regrets, just disappointment. lol

I kinda stopped coming on Smashboards for a while since this place died and the NintenZone social was very unwelcoming to anyone with a different opinion. It's much better now but imo still has nothing on the Smash 4 socials when it was lively.

If only people just came back here afterwards instead of going elsewhere. On the bright side, many people that were here congregate in the same places now anyway.

More or less. Up until people started complaining about rules we never really enforced did we have to enforce them. Regret vs. Disappointment. People were also upset that the temporary thread title I came up with didn't have "& Knuckles." WTF

Random question, anyone know really good only on Ps1 exclusives I can hunt down. One of them but is ungodly expensive is tales of Eternia, or Tales of Destiny 2 in the US. Trying to find other titles that look very appeals that were only there and not on a virtual console.

Tales of Destiny 2 doesn't seem to be that high in price even assuming you're after it CIB. Not sure about your financial situation, but at it's current price it shouldn't be too hard to skip a few recent $40-60 releases to bite the bullet on. Since it's an RPG you'll probably get a lot more for your money as well.

Now that you say that, it make me remember some bad memories...

I really wasn't great when I first started. Then again, beside some forum here and there (which were worst since I was younger, thus, more stupid and naive), I didn't know what to say or not but I always tried to respect rules as possible. But sadly, I did sometime get overboard, and while I had only warning in return. I still feel pretty ashame of myself when I remember those stupid/horrible moment.

To end this, I will say that. As a horrible great talking clock said once: There's a time and a place for mucking around.

Seeing the social thread being dead during a time its usually overflowing with conversation is just terrible. There is no way the mods could possibly think they did anything good for the thread.

I like how 3.0 and 4.0 both reached Pg 34 in two days.

The first stage of action would be to not act like you are guilty of something. No issues when that is followed.

I really don't care that much, it's a PM anyway. So unless it's breaking major site rules such as porn or selling stuff I'm not going to do anything, unless one of you reports something yourself.

I do think you all overreacted by creating this, not that you don't have the right to. The rules in the 4.0 thread were meant to be general reminders not a crackdown. Quite frankly, the staff was surprised at all of your reactions, as you were all awesome in 3.0.

While I do apologize for the miscommunication over one liner posts, if you have questions or have issues over an infraction, you should contact the staff member who gave it to you privately. I ask this so the social thread can stay on track and continue to have a positive atmosphere.

And while I have yet to see it (not that I have seen some of you have tried ), if you think a staff member, including myself, got a little borderline, by all means report us. It's the best thing in the world to be able to make fun of coworkers such as Warchamp.

As for the "Turbo Hyper Edition" thing, yes that was meant to be a placeholder that would change over time/be a way for the staff to have fun with you guys. I don't know where the "& Knuckles" thing came from, but it wasn't brought up during the plans for 4.0.
