Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Regard it as a half jest. I never really thought of it, but the pair is actually quite iconic to me despite not being a FF fan at all.

I've yet to play 4 tbh but from what little I know I'm inevitably going to be disappointed there's no scene of Otacon and Snake taking Sunny out to the mall or sometihing and then "Daddies I need to tinkle"
"Hrnnggghh tinkle?"
"Sunny needs to go to the bathroom Snake, she drank lots of juice. You'll need to bring her to the bathroom yourself before it's too late"
"Hrgghhhhhhh so I got to take Sunny to the bathroom huh?"


Then Raiden pops out of the toilet when they get there going "I MANAGED TO AVOID DROWNING :D"

There's a scene in the trailer where he dramatically drops his staff and collapses. Probably gonna be like Goofy in KH2 where he's "dead" for 2 minutes and then perfectly fine in the next cutscene.

Thanks for reducing the joy I will take from every future MGS game because they won't have this scene.

Its funny that KH Is the only long running successful Disney owned videogame franchise.

Also did you know that Jessica Rabbit is in KH3?

Pretty surprised by how many big boss games we got and how we never got a game that takes place between 2 and 4. Unless I'm forgetting a game.

But if you play 4 I hope you like movies. Best gameplay in the series besides 5 but the gameplay is literally 33% of the game and the ending made me cry

I'm aware and considering how annoyed I'd get at my mother going "GWEEEEEEN GET THE DOOR THERE'S SOMEONE THERE" and **** during the Snake Eater cutscenes I am ****ing terrified of MGS4

Metal Gear Rising was original Metal Gear Solid: Rising and it was supposed to be set between 2 and 4 until it got farmed out to Platinum to make an unrelated game set after the series for some reason and it is part of why that game breaks my heart every day.

MGS4 is my favorite MGS easy. Amazing gameplay and a really awesome movie/game hybrid and it makes me cry every single time. One of my top five games of all time to be honest.

Real talk, I hope because of Castlevania's inclusion in Smash, we one day get a new Castlevania game similar to what happen to Mega Man, but I don't think we'll be lucky enough for that to happen.

I mean I very rarely play games for narrative, so 5 is an easy favorite to me. Sad that I'll never get to experience a game like the Phantom Pain ever again.

Plus snake and ocelot have really hot voices in V

I love V a lot more than most people seemed to but that's because I absolutely love radio plays and narratives that have to do with deconstructing hero worship so it was right up my alley. Plus it played beautifully. It was a really important moment in gaming history, with the lead up and shaming of Kojima and all that. Sometimes I wish I could experience it all again too.

Look japan is somehow ahead and behind us just give them time. Eventually they will realize that game shows involving two cute girls attempting to blow a cockroach into the mouth of the other is a lot more weird than dudes liking dudes.

Donald, his nephews, and Pooh bear are all half naked; shirts and no pants. That's why Deadpool says he's 'gonna Winnie the Pooh it' in DP2 lol.
