Zeus - Always fun to play you in some friendlies. The Fox uair is tough to avoid, all you can do is time an attack properly, DI out of the way, and pray they screw it up lol.

It's a chance to combo two up smashes vs a chain throw. For me, I like the up smash. I also like winning without chain throws so I can focus on my skill to combat. The chain throw is also only applicable on Final D, when there's a platform it becomes a tech chase. Also, you can escape the space animal on space animal chain throw at 30% with Fox and Falco by mashing down and b. Plus, I just like the double Up Smash combo. =P

I wasn't saying "giving advice" like I'm some Smash god. But while Alpha was playing Carter both this tournament and at Waba I was able to catch on to a LOT of what Carter was going to do. So I simply told Alpha everything to avoid, and how to get around it. I hope you didn't take it as me being cocky, but Alpha's my best friend for 4 years now lol, and it's only in my nature to give advice to him when it's needed. He won didn't he?

EDIT: I did say in that shoutout "now if only I could give myself as good of advice and win too rofl". So I don't see what the fuss is about. In the car Alpha DID say my advice helped a lot, hence why I posted that particular shoutout... please don't be mad at me :/

I doubt they "gave" him the extra 20$. When twister counted it out, he did it twice with the store manager right there. So there was no error in what happened as far as who got what prize money. Alpha's prize money was correct. However I do remember the bit about someone needing change right as I left, so that could be where the error is at.

I really wasn't trying to be :/ So it's all good.

EDIT: We'll do some basic math to solve the missing money problem. So let's lay it out:

26 entrants, 15$ per person = $390.

Now, at SoD5, the rules on the first page state 8% from EACH pot will be taken out before prizes are given. So let's go ahead and do that.

$390 - (390$ * .08) = $358.80

$358.80 is the pot size that will be used to distribute prizes:

$358.80 * .15 = $53.82 This is the third place prize money.

This leaves us with $304.98 Since the two players decided to split it in half they each SHOULD have received: $152.49

Now I know for a FACt that Alpha received $56 (actually $55, he gave $1 to Zeus, but that doesn't count) And this is most likely due to avoid the whole excess loose change ordeal. So I think this is Sleepy's error on how he typed it in, no doubt because of the whole 8% of the pot being taken away first. Basically you guys did lose 49 cents each, and the store gave alpha about an extra dollar this way all the cash given out was perfectly even. <3 all you guys.
