Smash IRC?

How many of you guys actually use IRC?

Oft times I've been invited to these big messy msn convos and by the time I see them, people have come and gone. The benefit of IRC is you just have it sign you in when you start your computer and you can lurk and say **** when people are around whenever. It's also good to get nubs into the scene and makes organising social stuff really easy (impromptu gaming sessions or online).

So what I propose is an aussie IRC channel. Perhaps gotgames have an IRC server. Shrug.

Sounds good. I don't really use IRC much, cause I'm practically just idle/lurking on it all the time. =P

But rest assured if there is a channel set up, I'll be there.

Thats the best thing about it! You can just lurk and say **** whenever you like and maybe somebody's around/awake to talk to.

Well, I have three options to give.

1. The official Smashboards IRC. Its bloomin' quiet there at the moment, all the time for that matter, it could do with some livening up.
2. My personal IRC channel.
3. Aussie-Nintendo on AusIRC.
