No outside food or drink is allowed in the facility. Food and drinks are provided by the Cafe and Gilligan's Island Bar & Grill. Unlimited Powerade will be provided to all participants for an extra $1 with entry fee per day.

There is to be absolutely no free play allowed at anytime for the duration of the tournament. This rule is implemented to keep the tournament organized and under control due to time restraints.

Actually, I was trying to edit that rule in. It won't let me edit for some reason.

But yes, the rule will be 4 stock, 8:00 rounds.

I think that was the date for another thing they had. the real date is Aug. 25, which is a saturday. Is it possible to enter several tournies? what happens if your round in 2 games are at the same time?

Why can't I edit my post? :(

It's going to be a 1v1 competition.

And yes, the date is August 25th.

If you are up in 2 different games at the same time, your spot will be held until you are finished with the other competition. I don't do disqualifications due to absence unless absolutely and positively necessary. Usually, I'm able to skip matches and come back to them.

I thought DDR storm was a jacksonville thing. At least that's the impression that Al Bagalasca and Josh Hull gave me. Speaking of which, you know if josh is gonna come to this? (I'm assuming al won't since last I heard from him he's retired). If he is I may make an effort to come over for this since I haven't gotten to hang with him in a while since I'm out of UNF, and I'm always down with smash.

Darksyde: Hahahaha. Yeah, I figure why not try and make Storm X bigger than RMT8. :p

-----

Pritch: DDR Storm used to be a Jacksonville thing. Lots have changed. OP arcade went oout of business. Regency arcade sucks. Adventure Landing is not cooperative. So I went to Daytona and it's MUCH better than Jacksonville actually. And actually, Josh will definitely by there. AL MIGHT come if I talk him into it. Try convincing him. :)

-----

Laijin: Excuse my noobness. I don't know TOO much about what's usually banned and what's not. This is why I ask for suggestions. I've looked through many tournament threads and tried to find out what rules were used the most. This is what I've went with.

Cool, cool. I may come over as long as I don't have any other commitments. I don't really talk to al much anymore though, so I can't help you much there.

Oh, and as for the ruleset, you're basically fine. I honestly haven't been to many tournaments where they ban floats. It's a harsh stages for some characters, sure, but welcome to counterpicking. I'd ban Onnet before I banned floats, as fox is pretty broke there. Actually, I'd think pretty seriously about banning onnet. Get some second opinions and see what the general opinion on that is, but I bet the majority of people would be for it. Most tournaments have it banned atm, as far as I'm aware.
