Amazing how people debate this so much. Really I'm more intrested in what it would change if it was or wasn't called a fighting game.

That wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be. Most people who commented actually thought of smash as a fighter. Usually when i read about competitive smash outside of SWF i brace myself for tons of ignorant/troll posts.
