Holy ****! this direct was EPIC, but it sadness me that this might deconfirm Ridley.

Loving the online stuff so far. No more "party" nonsense. With FD being the only stage however, it seems like Little Mac will be very dominant since there's no platforms to jump onto.

Overall I liked it for the most part. I'm indifferent on Ridley so I'm not happy nor sad she won't be in.

Awesome direct. Don't care for Greninja myself, but he does look fun.

They dropped the ball releasing the 3DS version first, though.

I am officially a Greninja main. A badass ninja frog, what's not to love? I'm not even mad about Mewtwo - and who knows, with Jiggly and him there'd be 6. That's not that bad. Seriously, Pokemon is rocking this Smash!!

Ridley though... there was something about the way he moves on the stage... seemed kinda controlled. I don't know though, I just think it'd be silly to leave him out.

Pretty cool. Dissapointed at no CF, but I wanted a ninja-like character. I would have expected Strider, but Greninja is just as good.

There's a good chance Squirtle and Ivysaur aren't returning, so that frees up 2 more spots. Mewtwo shall survive.

This game could be something so, so, so much more with workshop. This is just lame compared to hacked brawl. Something that is new and amazing is HD/3D and that's it. Midna deconfirmed and I've already been playing with a perfectly hacked Midna for months and I will keep doing that, have fun with your wii fir trainers, animal crossings and superboxers.
At least Sakurai made Kid Icarus... it does make up for the waste of potential in Smash Bros.

That's what I thought too, he moved sort of strangely and Sakurai only showed his shadow. I don't think Ridley fans should lose hope yet. I think Palutena looks good coming into this game with Pit's FS changed and how Sakurai showed off the Pseudo-Palutena trophy or whatever it was called, to mess with people. Keep hope for E3 if your favorite character wasn't shown, we'll get the final roster by summer if there's no delays since the 3DS shares the same roster as the Wii U.

They only showed a silohette. I say Meta Ridley, who was also a boss in Brawl. Remember, Toon Link was shown on the Spirit Train stage.

Sakurai, you just built a huge tower of awesome on top of a feeble little brick, and thn you kicked that brick and the tower collapsed completely...MASAHIRO SAKURAI, you're WORSE THAN EA! Sakurai's the worst game developer to ever exist on this planet, he listened to the fans with the FD version of stages, the Master Balls...but...he screwed it all up! He literally threw down the entire game, I'm having my doubts about buying Smash4 now. Great way to make the best cake on the world and then sprinkle a LOAD OF **** ON TOP OF IT.

All in all… Everything was awesome… but I feel sour for some reason? Why are Charizard and Greninja out there by themselves? Are they just pissed? Their trainers are supposed to want to battle. I feel like I need these fighters to have a motive. And yeah, youre telling me what about the other Pokemon? Pikachu is a mascot and is aware of the 4th wall, Jigglypuff wants you to listen to her song, Lucario must train, and Mewtwo kills whoever he wants. Oh and Pichu…following Pikachu’s example. I dunno, thats how it made sense to me.
Whatever, this is awesome and my sour feeling will fade. Game looks gorgeous and thank you for the absolutely amazing final destination and vastly improved online!
