The sad flaws of the great white north.Aw... No Canada?
Well there is the one in Long Island City which is in Queens and literally about 20 minutes away from the city itself. Try coming to that one if you're in the area.I'm surprised Best Buy in New York City isn't part of this event...
Central New York gets a mention too, since it was involved with E3 2013. Very odd how that area never got mentioned for E3 2014.I'm surprised Best Buy in New York City isn't part of this event...
Just Wii U. People would sell the 3Ds with the temporarily downloaded game, anyway.Really important question actually: Is this a demo for JUST the 3DS version, or JUST the Wii U version, or BOTH? It would be a real shame if this was a repeat of last E3 at Best Buy, where there was basically just one station in the middle of the store (that's better than nothing, but I went apparently too late to get a chance to try anything). It just would NOT make sense to not allow everyone with a 3DS to show up and do download play to play with like half the characters or something, while everyone waits in line to play the full Wii U game at the station.
Ha, wouldn't the game not be stored on the 3DS and be deleted upon power down? So I guess you could do that, but not power it down? They could just have it be a timed demo for the download play if they were to do that.Just Wii U. People would sell the 3Ds with the temporarily downloaded game, anyway.
****ing hell, the nearest bloody Beset Buy that has the demo is in Long Island... and I'm in Manhattan...Best Buy and Nintendo have launched the Smash-Fest portion of the Best Buy website for the Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest @ Best Buy. For those unsure what the Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest is, it is an event being hosted by Best Buy so that players can come and test out Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Best Buy has unveiled the locations of participating stores, as well as the dates and times of these events on their website.
To find your location, simply follow this link and go to the drop down menu to select the state you live in. From there, a second drop down menu will appear where you can pick the closest location to where you live. If you are unsure where the closest city is or how to get there, Google Maps or Google will help you find your way. Also, if you are a Canadian smasher, you're in luck! The list of participating Canadian stores can be found here.![]()

How i feel that i don't have a Bestbuy in my area
Oh wait, by train it's only 32 min...****ing hell, the nearest bloody Beset Buy that has the demo is in Long Island... and I'm in Manhattan...
I'll try to. But I want to be one of the first 70 people, but it takes 32 minutes to get there and I have school that day. Hope I can make it.Anyone else going to the Long Island City Best Buy on the 11th?
Yeah I might have school that day too, but I might cut since we aren't doing much that week. Hope to see you there, and hopefully there'll be some other smashers there as well. Think that enough of us come and we request it enough, we'll be able to play with our own rules?I'll try to. With Canada's 22 Smash Fest locations to your puny 103, I would think harder before making a comment like that. The sad flaws of the great white north.
I'm Canadian, I live just north of Vancouver. "I would think harder before making a comment like that." Just kinda sucks being constantly overlooked because we're right next to the states. With Canada's 22 Smash Fest locations to your puny 103, I would think harder before making a comment like that.
The sad reality of the American Dream.
Oh, thank god you are Canadian. I was beginning to think there was going to be an international incident!I'm Canadian, I live just north of Vancouver. "I would think harder before making a comment like that." Just kinda sucks being constantly overlooked because we're right next to the states.
