Call me a "toobigot" or whatever, but isn't Ridley a little "too big" for the game or would they scale him down to the size of Charizard or Bowser?

I personally think he's cool and wouldn't mind having him in the game.

He could easily be bigger than Bowser. Nothing stopped Bowser from being bigger than DK. Just remove the hitbox on the wings and tail.

You can't split boxing into sports and other forms of fighting into fighting. Is boxing is a sport, other fighting games are UFC and a sport too.

*sigh*, this really shouldn't be complicated.

It's the same reason why Metroid Prime isn't a FPS. Sure it has shooter elements to it, but it takes more then that to make it an actual shooter game. Prime is more properly define as a FPA.

Games like Tekken, SF, BazBlue, and yes even Smash have many things in common in how they work.

Punch-Out lacks various quality for it to actually be a true fighting game. It is more properly defined as a sports game, or even a puzzle game, then a fighting game.

I don't think you're getting me.
The genre is what I'm looking at.
Yes it is a Sport in which you Fight people.
But the game itself is labeled as a pure sports game while UFC is labeled as Sports/Fighting.
That's all I'm trying to say I'm not against fighting characters as I still wish I could see Jago in this iteration of Smash Bros.
But alas Micro$oft owns Rareware.

Ridely's gonna be a boss character for the stage, I don't see any other possibility with all that's been shown.

Sakurai could be tricking us, yes. But I have not seen any tricks from him literally telling us a hint in a genre, and completely disregarding it. He's good at reveals, but he's already shown him, I saw the shadow, Ridley stopping but still in flying position. I'm set.

Anthony Higgs. Just kidding. Maybe Sylux from Metroid Prime Hunters...though I'd be fine if Samus and ZSS were the only playable character from the series.

I was watching TSG's Pokemon Marathon, and they happened to raise $2000 for charity just by debating whether brown gravy or white gravy is better. I prefer brown gravy. What's your opinion on gravy?
