So uh...I'm gonna go ahead and post one of the weirdest **** anyone's ever seen. Apparently, I've been doing this little thing called Smash Wrestling since '06, where we have random videogame and non-videogame characters come together to beat the living **** out of each other in Smash. Some might be asking me why I have the word "wrestling" in the title. That's due to the championships and sometimes have to wrestle each other. Anyway, here's the current stuff I have:

Notes:

The Speedy Championship is based on lightweight fighters only. There are several females (Samus, Chip, Rose, etc) who can actually qualify for the championship due to being some of the toughest females around. Most women along with those like Mario, Bowser, Ike, etc cannot qualify for the belt. People like Pikachu, Kirby, Fox, Marth, etc are lightweight and able to qualify for the belt. Same rules apply for the Speedy Tag Team Championships

The Coin Championship was invented by my nephew after we played constant Coin matches during Melee and Brawl. Gave me the idea back in '09 to make the belt. Rules are playing coins match. Person with most number of coins at end of match wins and is champion

The Xtreme Championship is very similar to WWE's version of the Hardcore Championship: Anything goes rule. In this kind of match (Xtreme), items are on and set to med-high. Basically items are legal in these kind of matches.

The Mixed Tag Team Championship is a male and female fighter teaming up for the tag titles

So I am bringing this over here to reply to since the unpopular opinions thread is being more strict about replying to someone's post now.

I don't know if this counts as an unpopular opinion, but I didn't want to make a thread about it since it's probably already been discussed.

But I am already scared about the balance of this game.

Take Diddy Kong for example. He can still throw 2 bananas, judging by the banana item it won't disappear after you slip, and he can most likely still grab after tripping opponent. This sounds like Brawl all over again.

Diddy actually isn't a problem in Brawl, at all. If you know what you are doing. You can catch his Bananas and throw them back at them, and even set up infinities with them against him. They are actually very fair when you know how to catch them in midair, pick them up, and use them against him. Diddy is actually one of the better built and fairer characters when you stop and think about it.

I don't know how campy Olimar is in this game, I've barely seen anyone play him (except in the Invitational where I saw that pretty good Olimar rise almost effortlessly until he was eliminated by a popularity vote in favor of ZeRo)

That would have been AMSA who is a really good player. He got Yoshi to 9th spot for Melee for Apex 2014. And he just played very smartly and how he should have in a FFA. But I can guarntee you now, Olimar is going to suck at camping compared to his Brawl incarnation due to having 3 less Pikmin and with only 3 Pikmin they are a lot more valuable and you won't want to throw them like you wanted to in Brawl.

I know it's still an early build, but I can't help being concerned about the balance. Heck, Samus doesn't look nearly as OP as Sakurai made her out to be. In fact she looks kinda same-ish, except faster fall speed, like everyone else.

I agree with your concerns about balance, I just disagree with your reasoning for your concerns. The reasoned I am concerned is because this is Sakurai we are talking about and he only has a 12 man team working on balancing this game. That's better then just himself for Melee and a 4 man team for Brawl, but it is still very very low for a balancing team imo.

There's this anime movie released within recent memory (2 years ago?) that was meant to be released something like 9 years ago, but was delayed for "7 hand drawn years" as the entirety of the 2 hour? film was hand drawn.

Either way, fantastic film.
Yes CGI sucks.
It isn't that bad, but Japan are really really behind in using it, so it looks horrendous when they mixmatch/crop CGI into otherwise "2D" scenes. Icky.
American/French CGI is fine, but they pretend like it takes the most effort or anything of the like. It looks great, but people shouldn't believe its special when you compare to "7 hand drawn years".

I hate how cgi is the standard for cartoons and its cheaper, but what happened to good old-fashioned hand drawn cartoons, it just looks better and allows unique art styles, but i guess thats just my preference

CGI is like a hinderance for me to watch something. The only people that do it a justice are pixar and prevalent video game companies. Jimmy Newtron did it alright I guess. Maybe I'm nostalgia blind.

Sooo... whether this makes it to a full tv series like the new PPG is going to be in 2016 is yet to be seen. But if it is I will throw up. All i remember from Nickelodeon is Hey Arnold, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Invader Zim, My Life As A Teenage Robot, Avatar, Invader Zim, Rugratz, Invader Zim, Spongebob, Invader Zim, Kablam form some reason, and Invader Zim.
