I watch Madoka dubbed, and I think I keep hearing voice actors from Arthur. For example, Sayaka sounds a lot like Sue Ellen.
You've been watching the dub? :joyful:

"FOR REELZ?!"
"YOU REALLY ARE AN ALLY OF JUSTICE MAMI, NOT LIKE THAT PSYCHO. WHAT'S HER DEAL ANYWAY? SHE REALLY PISSES ME OFF."
"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS! YOU'RE BOTH GIRLS! GIRLS CAN'T LOVE GIRLS!"
"THAT WAS A BONA-FIDE BATTLE TO THE DEATH FOR REELZ."

The dub is so hard to watch after hearing the Japanese voices, and even harder after playing Skullgirls. The voices of Madoka, Sayaka, Homura, and Kyouko are all in Skullgirls.

Jus thought everyone should know that there is a MK8 Tournament I created in a half hour.
The code is 2776-0374-7169.

It's called the My Body is Ready Tournament, and I ask that you play as a Reggie or Filsamech Mii.
Would really like to join, but "it's that time of the week" again. I would rather not have fans sending me angry emails about "Where the hell is the chapter?" and actually start writing it all day long.

Ehh, I prefer the JP voices, but it's easier to browse other threads with the english in the background, especially during the talking scenes.

Yeah, that is true. The Japanese voices are better, but if you want to multi task then I guess English is better. I prefer to just sit down and watch, so I go with whatever voice is better.

Just got back from the store and got me a new 32 GB SD card. Now I have 204,018 blocks on my 3DS left. Just as long as I have at least $39.99 on my Nintendo eShop balance the night before the game is out, I will be ready for buying Smash 3DS digitally!!

Anyways, since Kermit is here, what order are you supposed to view the Madoka movies in (I mean after which episodes)?

Ubisoft's trademark isn't on the box, even though Rayman is referenced in the game.
Calm down with the "deconfirmed!11!!!", folks.
Rayman isn't a character, though.
The trademark is specifically for characters.

Though like some pointed out, it reflects characters on the box.
Case in point; Melee lacked any sort of notion of Marth or Roy being in the game on the box and Intelligent Systems went uncredited.
Just because Konami or Ape Inc. or Monolith Soft don't show up doesn't mean their characters aren't in just yet.

EDIT: That being said, it does give me doubts about Lucas and Snake....
-Previous games' boxes typically showed the entire starting roster. Unless both Lucas and Ness are unlockable this time around, I think the fact that Ape Inc./Shigisato Itoi are unlisted is damning for Lucas (not Ness, since he has the excuse of "he's probably unlockable again").

-Brawl showcased Snake and Sonic despite being unlockable because of their guest status. So Konami and Sega were listed. Only Sonic, Mega Man, and Pac-Man are showcased, with Sega, Capcom, and Namco-Bandai listed. I sincerely doubt they'd keep Snake completely secret, so no Konami gives bad vibes.

The card says 2.1 GB. So that's what we're going to get, huh? That's more than most 3DS games, like Uprising for example, though I guess it's understandable. But now what... are we gonna get an almost half empty 4 GB card?
There is the scenario where the extra space is there for extra content in the future. I believe Fire Emblem Awakening and Animal Crossing New Leaf did something similar too.

Movies 1 and 2 are the anime with redone voice work and animation. Movie 3 is a continuation of the story and should be watched after the anime unless you want to spoil everything.

Just as a note, Movie 3 is only in Japanese. Movies 1 and 2 were dubbed recently, but if you want to watch the 3rd, you'll have to do it subbed.

No problem. I guess that means no multitasking then.

Evidence Snake might not be in Smash (no Konami)

Had very little to do with Nintendo platforms after Ghost Babel. 1 2nd Party Nintendo remake and a quick 3DS port job aside.

2.1 GB!!! Meaty game, that's probably compressed as hell too.

Nah, Vita cards can technically use reserved space for patches, but 3DS games don't work like that, they don't have space reserved on the PCB for anything other than the game and a tiny bit for saves. MK7 patched to your SD Card. Only saves go on the game. They'll probably try to compress it before launch to 2 GB, way more common, cheaper chip they can order from Macronix. If not and this is final (game might already have gone gold), then it'll have to be a 4 GB card. IIRC there's only 3 other titles that are 4 GB cards on 3DS:

Snake Eater 3D
Resident Evil: Revelations
New Love Plus

I know on the DS the larger cards had a slower access speed, probably still true here.

I was thinking about extra content/DLC as well. Unless if Sakurai really tried to jam everything on a 2 GB cartridge but couldn't? I don't know though, how does DLC work? Does the data save on the SD card, and not the cartridge itself?

But yeah, since we know that the 3DS game (digital and physical) is 2.1 GB, can we say that the game is gold now? I mean, the release date is pretty close, and does this mean no delays??... So, can we expect more leaks soon?

Edit: Well, @ R R0Y just cleared some things up. Thanks.

DLC saves on the SD Card, even the MK7 patch saved to the SD Card. Technically there's a tiny bit of on-board memory on the system that I think the OS and DSi games use as well.

Yeah, if we know the file size, I'd say we know it's gold at this point. Hyrule Warriors did it only like 2 1/2 weeks before Japanese launch, but that was on an optical disc. 3DS games may have harsher deadlines because of the PCB manufacturing. Apparently Macronix out of Taiwan makes the chips for every 3DS game, and unlike Wii U games, 3DS games say "Made in Japan" everywhere.

How it feels to be watching Madoka Magica now (episode 11)

I haven't been this depressed about an anime since K-On ending.

Do digital copies of games save on SD cards or both? (I don't know, I don't own any digital games).

Yes, digital copies save game saves to the SD card as well. There's even a utility on the eShop for transferring saves from a physical card to a downloadable version for people who switch to digital. It's called the Save data Transfer Tool.

I'm still going digital especially that I just bought a 32 GB SD card today.
To each their own, but the "still" part makes me somewhat confused, you were expecting a smaller file size? I'm curious.

What I mean by "still" is that I've decided to get the game digitally rather than physical for many months now and that today's news hasn't changed my opinion on that decision.

Ah, yeah.

No 3DS game is ever going to hit or force an expansion of that 8 GB card file size limit barrier, lol.

Huh, I haven't heard of the save data transfer tool before. It's pretty neat that there's the option available.

Because they want your friends to buy it too.

Huh? That was local play, not download play, shown off.
Oh, Download Play. I got confused there.
Yeah I don't know. Then again, I'll mostly play online anyway. So I don't really care how it goes.

Yeah, it won't affect you even locally unless your friend doesn't have a copy of the game as well and wants to play against you.

Was there ever any talk about this?
