Anyway, what did I miss? I did check the daily pictures on Miiverse whenever I could. Cool stuff and epic trolling from Sakurai, especially regarding Meta Knight. So don't talk about Smash 4 news that I already know.

Of course, just because I was on vacations, I wasn't completely turned off from reality. It greatly shocked me when I heard the news about Robin William's death. May he rest in peace.

There are some clones that I REALLY like (Toon Link especially) but there are some certain characters that....well, just imagining them having a clone irks me.

Give anyone a blue/blond wig and they become a clone and also become immediately proficient with a sword.

Yeah. If they do have voice acting in a Zelda game, they might as well do it like that. It's been done in a bunch of games before, like Half-Life. I don't think anyone would mind if Link stayed mute.

Hmmm it probably take more time then and game wouldn't probably be out till November or October

well from a development/localization standpoint, yeah sure it will take time. But I'm not talking the whole game, having text dialog in at least the cut scenes really can add to the experience (At least for me) it would be cool to hear actual dialog and tone amongst characters.

We've probably already gotten the full roster in one of these many leaks, but we can never know for sure until the game comes out.

Well it honestly depends, gaming sites who might have the game 1 to 2 weeks before the games release can lead to possible leak *cough* GameXplain *cough*, but I'm pretty sure the whole roster will be plopped on the website on release just like it was done when Brawl was released.

No matter what his voice is, if Link speaks, people will complain. Not just mild complaints. Serious, large scale, complaints.

But even if Zelda had voice acting, Link is almost guaranteed to be silent. Even Mario Sunshine had Mario as a silent protagonists during cutscenes.

What silent protagonist? Well it has already been occurring already, just only in text form for Zelda games. By actually giving voices to everyone except Link wouldn't really change how Zelda games have handled their story telling.

I mean, they have been half-ing from game to game making character blurt out a word or two. I would just like to see it fully realized, at least in cut scenes

Eh, if some users here are getting the Japanese version of Smash 3DS, they could give information or at least post the final roster. This is likely, since the 3DS general discussion subforum has a "Japanese 3DS owners" thread.

Agreed. If handled like the voice acting like Metroid Prime 3, Zelda with voice acting will be fine. Samus was silent, but the rest of the cast talked.
