Well it at least gets more STAB.
But having two new weaknesses isn't that big a deal is it? Especially seeing as it loses its weakness to fighting.
It will also resist more moves now.

I just realized we got our first 5th Gen Mega Evolution.

Why is it Audino of all things?

I love 5th Gen, so this is a really big dissapointment for me, they could have chosen Krookodile, Hydreigon, Gigalith, Scolipede, or even Crustle, but nope, they chose the EXP punching bag.

And Slowbro... meh, it's one of my favorite Pokémon, but it looks ridiculous, and not in the good way. I love how oblivious and absolutely braindead he looks originally, but here he just looks uncomfortable sitting in his spinning top, it took the charm away from him.

The OR/AS Megas are thus far pretty mediocre imo, I like the starters and Sableye, and I also like Primal Groudon and Kyogre, but aside from that the rest just don't really work that well imo.

I like the megAs cut Audino looks like eaichi. Hoping it gets a stat boost that is hide. As for slowbro it is most likely defense and special defense only.

Of the info. we have now, Mega Audino looks like it's gonna be the worst Mega Evolution up to now, at least in terms of usability. It has an ability that's useless in Single Battles, it doesn't have many good resistances outside of Dragon immunity, it lacks a consistent recovery move outside of Wish, and I don't see many moves that it can utilise well that other pokemon don't already do.

Mega Slowbro, your inevitable death by your own shell is more entertaining than a Mega Audino.

Mega Slowbro would've been better with Regenerator, but then you would get MegaFunbro. Normal Funbro is already impossible to beat:

Well, looking at everything, I think trying to force Audino into single battles is bad. However, depending on the circumstances, it could actually be a great double battle Pokémon. We just need a few more moves, (a recovery move mainly) and probably some more defenses on both side.

Mega Audino might actually be an amazing cleric in double battles seeing how it learns heal bell through breeding. It's actually kinda cool if they do this right.
